Poll Question:
What town do you like best?
I was wondering what town you guys like so I can better understand your point of views when you post. (Looking at Xarfax, angelito, Maximus and other vets!)
I left out castle as it seems to only be for begginners, the barbarians because we have fortress and the useless elementals! (Well, I think so anyways....)

thanks for the tip, but I couldn't because the thread was already started. I tried deleting the second post then deleting the first one, but it still didn't work.
If a mod could do this it would be great.

Due to the fact u didnīt mention castle, i chose fortress.
Tazar, Mighty Moos, Level6 unit day1 or 2....enough said..

What will you do with all your money, when u wont have any units to buy?
Better build all the dwellings u can, u have much time to get the money and buy them all..

What would you do with all the units when you have no money to buy them with? Except on Easy to Hard difficulty. In impossible, you should try getting town hall, maybe city hall and some dwellings on the 1st week

Try moving your hero onto a chest and take the gold. 8)
There are more ways to get money than there are to get creatures. With proper creature combinations, you can start crashing banks, pick up gold piles, take chests, and generally find enough money to purchase said creatures.
If you build a city hall, then you have lost 5 days worth of creatures, 11500 gold, 15 wood and 5 ore. What if you could build wyverns day 2 or 3?
If you had those kinds of resources, think of what you're army will look like in week 2 using both methods. Which one would you rather have?
That being said, you are still limited to what the map gives you, especially in random games on impossible difficulty.

And difficulty. People playing at 130% have the resources to crank out the creature generators.

In any case, I've realized by reading other threads about this, armies early will give you the possibility to get the gold by fighting for chests, mines, treasury, crypt, etc.... so the end benefit is the same except that you have more creatures to end with; and the same amount of gold... maybe even more.

PS For all you vets getting tired of speaking of this topic/tactic, it IS very usefull for us online Noobs. So, I say lets keep these comments coming and so this forum will have served it's purpose.

Also, worth adding is one of the most important tactics in week1
You have one army, but several heroes; usually four or five when playing random 130/160 The magic of chaining this ONE army around on the different heroes makes you fight for even more resources in less time. Practice makes perfect, of course, in order to use this tactic efficently, avoid fighting fights u'll lose too much army in and so on. Another important thing I remember I didnt think of when I first started playing online, were the; let your main have only the fastest unit on before every new turn. this can be for example one griffin or centaur or whatever practise makes perfect, when playing castle, your cavaliers/champions will do you wonders in late week1/early week2. Having champions in army gives your little main a nice + in the travelling tool bar when shared with stables
Hope this helps you out a little, the best way to train and learn is simply to try the tactics out in a real online game

my personal fave is StRoNgHoLd, becouse of heroes , its cheapness and the fantasy creaturesAs far as for castle goes i dont think its n00bish, i always choose the neutral or the good side, and only then i look at the stats, i like castle becouse they do butt kicking for goodness

hmm... where are the vets.... 4 votes for dungeon?yuckers... you could have left necro out since its mostly banned from games... and put in a power town like inferno.... anyways my vote would still go to fortress(angelito said earlier the reasons)
