As for the fact Conan had no time on sunday, i entered the zone a bit later than expected.
Jebus was there and we decided to play a 1on1 random.
Map was "jebus"-template, L size, no under, 130% difficulty, no water, monster set to strong.
He played Dungeon, me castle. Random heroes from the start.
More details from jebus...if he likes to tell..

I'd like to thank Angelito at this point for his discretion..... game whent a little like this:
week one: explore, explore, build, oops dumb decision, waiting, waiting, build... waiting....
week two: explore, explore, dang!! another dumb mistake, doing ok though... waiting, waiting....
week three: waiting, waiting, getting scrared, waiting.... angelito: "coming to visit you tomorrow!!".... Jebus:" hey does he have 30+stats??? can't be... I think he does!!!"
very scared..... and............. WHAM!!! End game.
uh.... does that sounds about right??? I woke up in a cold sweat and thought it was all a dream.... it wasn't.
Spent the rest of the night in the corner, huddled in a ball, crying... repeating:"Angelito is coming... Angelito is coming..."

If you guys are willing for a game during the week, we could try 3ffa.
Btw, dungeon without under can be really screwed, and with it actually.
With no harpies prebuilt, no dragons in week 1, and with no under tough to grab crypts, as you're on dirt.

3ffa??? 3 player free for all???
I would be interested.... I know that bet myself and Angelito, there is quite a time diff making it hard. Leo Lion may be interested, he's noober than me! (new adjectif??) He is also in my time zone... new york time??? (If I said Ontario, Canada time I'm sure nobody would know what that is!! LOL)
I never considered the disadvantage of not being underground.... (when under, do you start with harpy loft???) Please explain difficulty with crypts if you're not underground.... yeah the no dragon thing screwed me (but not as badly as being attacked with a hero of level 17+ in week 3i.

As i said to jebus yesterday, i really donīt like a 3ffa. Most of the time, the player who is NOT involved in the first battle wins the game, coz he has still full army..
But iīm sure we will find 3 guys who wanna play a 2vs2 for fun..
I will be online nearly every day this week....u will catch me for sure..
..and btw...If u play against a REAL veteran, u will probably face a level 20+ hero in week 3...
And Tazar with defense 30 is da bomb..

I am VERY eager to watch you play (2 vs 2 so I can apply it right away..) Like I mentioned, Lion is a noob who is also ready to learn, if we can set up a match that would be cool..... Is there a thread on building up your main hero that fast??? If not, you should start one... Also, when playing together, is there a way to allow me to see your battles too???
(I hope you take my jokes of my loss to you in good humour! In psychology, we call it a defense mecanisme! LOL.... When playing guys like you, it's all I have and no matter how badly I get beat, THAT defense will always hold!!!) LOL

Sometimes you get harpies prebuilt, sometimes you don't.
As for crypts, I meant it's tougher as you're on dirt ground - necropolis 'native' one. So, all critters in crypt will have +1 on their speed.

I'm not used to taking the ground into consideration...

im in, no jebus toss template though. If we are to play a map we are to play a tough one, thats how you learn... anyone can clear starting area if given a clue what to do with your heroes and know building order if map is a crazy rich one.
And trust me, i could roast, toast and smoke you easily with dungeon, no harpies and no drags week 1 (or2) if somewhat tough map and pick of starting hero

I believe it..... (but who are you directing this to?? all of us??? lol)
So we'll have to find a day that we can set it up!! If Conan is busy we seem to have a fourth in Nebuka.

Now with this plus 1 speed the skels can reach your outer creatures during first turn and the vampires can reach the middle creature. That gives u a hard time finding the best formation for "clearing the crypt on day 1".
Also often forgotten is the fact that creatures get +1 attack and +1 defense too on their homeground. This does have influence in the outcoming of first day crypt fights.
@angelito:
Ohhh, shame on you...playing jebus cross on 130 with castle ...shame on you!
Its time for u to enter the Drachenwald and challenge me for a fight.
@firewall steve:
Yeah u know how to play Trog`lovin style..lol. Time for u to get out of archdevil666 shoes. They are to large for u.

xarfix, i would tromp tromp your steretyphical gameplan any time with those trogs so you put those panties of yours over your head instead
as for archies shoes, dont think anyone can fill em as he problably was the best around ever. You stereotyphical builders can only reach one way and one dimension on a random as you know the blocks and buildtime to reach enough strength/stats/spells for those blocks.
I used to be there too, i managed drags week2 on a poor template with week 4 blocks... so i thought i was doing good as i played quite good and had cleared most of my starting areas... and then day 15 i see this dungeon hero. So i figure finally my drags gets something to chew on, then i see he got several angels and lots of wyerns along with a good dungeon army. And when i attack him the day before he would reach my town i realise he has 1,5 times my stats aswell.
And with all the respect to your heroes skills ive only seen you on battlemap xar, and nothing particular impressed me there as i remember you being quite easy. Archie on the other hand...
let me ask you this, have you ever played him?

It's hard these days to find allied fun random game.
Been on zone today for some hours, and noone would play.
Guess the same would be for any kind of fun game.

...lool, sorry fire wally im not up to your "mine-is-longer-then-your"-discussion, thats just plain boring. Im not one of your newbies u diss to feel better.

Yes about 2 times, in tough clan games. Was about 1 to 1. Archdevil was more a randomer, then a fixed maps player. He had outstanding chaining skill and game knowledge.
Xarfax1
Btw: That was the time u just started playing online.

not up for it you say? might be for the best, can almost promise im longer than you anyways
btw.. when i started online archie had about 25 games in his first season, i played him then and i played him again in one of his last games before he retired for good... and he was better later on.
chaining and game knowledge you say, nah nothing particular there really. ive played with players who's kept their chains better and players like wub sure knows the game theoretically.
Archies strengths lied within battle skills and unit treatment. Yet today i cant figure out how he managed some of his battles
He could take on battles early in games that made me go "so its ok if i say we give it up then?" and then he barely lost a unit from it.

Hehehe...
My goal was to show "jebus" the real difference between online playing and playing against comp. And with my small skills, the easiest and most impressive way is to face him with castle, jebus, 130%. And itīs one of the shortest way, coz i hadnīt that much time. Playing on "Extreme" would have been fun as well, but would have lasted much longer.
But playing on 200% would have been no fun for him i think....and neither for me.
And i know pretty sure u would smash me in a 1on1 game. Your online experience is much better than mine...iīm playing for 7 months now....you for years?...
