It depends... To me, gay is to be attracted (you know, romantic attracion) by another person of the same sex as yourself.

There was a great site which had "are you man/woman?", "are you gay?", etc tests. It scaled its question's values based on how men/women, gay/straight people replied on them, so, say a question that most gays would answer as "yes" would add to your gayness score, etc. It is pretty accurate. Everyone I know who did the first test got very accurate scores about their gender, so I tend to trust it with the other tests (one of which is the gayness test). I think I got somewhere in 20-s on it (which actually happens to be an average among STRAIGHT men).
So, I guess with it should look like this:

Just to add to this - I am straight, and have not been attracted to another man in a sexual kind of way. Although, I can tell when a man is attractive, I also like to look good myself (not anywhere close to the extreme though) and I have absolutely no problems with gays, but I prefer to keep my distance.
Also, I think that the scores like this (i.e. Manny):
X-----------------|-----------------G seem a bit "too straight" if you ask me. I mean: there are 100% straight men that lack ANY kind of gay tendencies, but according to the studies, that % is very very very low, much lower than the % of "X-----------------|-----------------G" scores in this thread.
As far as I understand this thread, a score of
S-X---------------|-----------------G
does not mean that for every 30 women you have sex with 1 man, or am I wrong?

I am like beyond strait. Girls are just way to my thing to be anywhere near gay. I have a few gay friends though. I haven't noticed too many gay guys on here...... I wonder if they exist here.

If you haven't noticed gay guys here, you haven't been looking. This place is crawling with them.
And you people who go off the scale in straightness are just being stupid. I mean, everyone has some typical male 'gay' tendencies, even if they are really just generalizations. I mean, tell me you've NEVER looked at yourself in the mirror and tried to fix up your appearance, when you had no plans for a date or to be near chicks.
Seriously.
And being off the scale would mean you're like out to kill gays or something.
Or never bought hair product, I mean it isn't just a mass generalizaiton of who you want to have sex with, because then that would be an a or be question, two options rather than a sliding scale.
