Does there appear a message when u start a new game (map or random), and you see the "loading" screen, where it says something like "Could not load h3sprite.lod.....blablabla.."?
If so, then you can do 2 things to solve that problem. First of all, check if u probably have 2 heroes versions on your comp (RoE and AB for example) with TWO different languages. Second, try to get the latest patch for your game version, those bugs should be solved with them.
