in my opinion this is probably too brief for an introduction to a style that so many arists have dedicated themselves to nowadays, has an insane amount of sub-styles and is probably developing right now.
as the words 'anime' and 'manga' seem to be used interchangably i don't differenciate much between them myself. i guess anime has more broad meaning than manga.

Actually, the difference between manga and anime is that manga usually means comics and static pictures, while anime = animated series

yeah, it has to be 'usually', because i think i have seen a movie that was called manga.
