playing dropping out in online games?
I just started looking at playing heroes 3 online using MSN Zone. I've tried to play a game with a friend of mine.. we're both behind firewalls, both with all the required ports forwarded. We can connect to the game, start the game, but within 2 minutes of the game starting.. we will lose connection and each of us will have the other leave the game.
Any ideas what might cause this?

haha, i had the exact same problem when trying to play with my good friend boogie and I was behind a router.
What I did to solve the problem was connect my modem directly to my computer and physically bypass the router.
Disabling your firewalls might make it work so I would try that. If you can't or don't want to disable your firewalls then I don't know. I'm pretty sure there's something you can do about it, I'm just not the most qualified person to give you advice in that area .

Unfortunately I'm not able to disable them. At least without taking down both of our networks... and there are services which need to be online on the servers (our routers)
