Hmm I smell a tradition of necroing this thread every 2-3 year.
Wow, talk about your father? O.o
Even though I do not want to admit it and think it is horribly wrong I like my mother and enjoy being around her more than being around my father... I relate more to my mum than my dad. I actually think my mum and dad (who are separated) are very different and I am suprised they got together once a long time ago.
I talk to my mum a lot more about stuff, we like the same music (yes, including lady gaga), my dad works in a factory and my mum is an observer (she spies and buys stuff, yeah its awesome) and I would be very interested to start a business myself and we have around the same political opinion (leftish/liberal).
My dad likes to watch stuff like "omg 100 highest buildings and biggest machines" on NatGeo channel and sport (including the incredibly boring Formel 1) while me and my mum think a show called "Swedish Hollywood/New York Wifes" is incredibly fun xD Yeah, thats the modern freakshow for us. My mum watches Paradise Hotel while I watch the swedish more hardcore version of Jersey Shore...
-.-
This is when I realized I wrote about my mum and not my dad. -.- Well, I guess that explains all of it.
But of course I see my dad all the time aswell and since both he and my mum live in the same area, it takes 5 min for me to go between them so I visit both.
