Speaking of appreciating music, am I the only one who's discovered that the music video to Paul McCartney and (Ray Charles? One of them blind dudes, anyway )'s "Ebony and Ivory" has some serious homoerotic undertones?

I hope you guys don't mind if I share some old songs I've written. Feel free to comment, and you can post some of your own if you'd like. Remember, you're all welcome to share even if you're not a musician.
Here's a song I dedicated to an old classmate a little over a year ago. I found out that his grandmother had passed away, and I was hoping to write and get this to him before much time passed, but I didn't really succeed. He never found out about this song, and I regret that very much.
"Guiding Light"
There are many things I've meant to tell you
Since you've gone away
I want to let you know that I miss you every day
Even though I cannot see or feel you
Standing close to me
I know that you are near and that you'll never leave
You are my guiding light
Forever watching over me
You take away the darkness so I can see
You are my guiding light
From heaven you keep me in sight
Thank you for being there for me

Our yearly Halloween concert has come and gone, and I had a great time tonight. Together with a small party of musical pals, I took the stage and got to play some cool rock numbers. Everything was rocking, so it was very noisy and washed in distortion and feedback. I was wearing a black leather jacket the whole time (a great thing to wear in warm Hawaii hehehe), so I was looking super cool and feeling super hot. No less, I got to jump around and rock the house down. Here's the setlist from tonight's show:
Setlist
"Always On My Mind" - Phantom Planet
"What's The Frequency, Kenneth?" - R.E.M.
"Born To Be Wild" - Steppenwolf
"Scooby Doo" - cartoon theme song
"Whatsername" - Green Day
"Crush With Eyeliner" - R.E.M.
"American Idiot" - Green Day
"Walk, Don't Run" - The Ventures
"I'm A Believer" - The Monkees
"Beautiful Love" - The Afters
"She's Got A Problem" - Fountains of Wayne (dropped at last minute)
"Smile Like You Mean It" - The Killers
"Secret Agent Man" - Johnny Rivers
So sorry William, no Tangerine Dream tonight.
