Quote: "HOME to Lerkendal", Terje?
I seem to recall you claiming to be a Hedmarking! That, of course, was after you said you hated John Arne Riise because you came from Molde. I'm on to you.
Whatever happened to supporting your local club anyway?
Clearing some things up:
I've been a Rosenborg supporter since I was 4 (my cool cousin was a fan - what can I say? ), and geographically speaking, Trondheim is closer to Tolga, my childhood hometown than Hamar or Kongsvinger. When I was 13, however, I moved to a small town outside of Molde, where I 3 years later started in the upper secondary school ("senior high" / videregående skole). In my last year there, I grew somewhat attached to Molde FK as well, since they were figting against relegation. In the first half of yesteryears season, I went to every home match they played. Me and another Rosenborg supporter, plus the 500 most devoted MFK supporters, and the away supporters. Just some 2,000 in a stadium that houses 11,000...
So I guess that's why you're confused, my friend. I can understand why; I hardly understand anything myself.
Sorry for the off-topic post, folks.

Staying off topic
Quote: Uhmmm... he's norwegian, his tax money goes to the Norwegian government I assume
Yeah, and their government is cool and gives some of his tax money to American victims here in Serbia, so I think it makes him a really nice guy in the end.

Hey, American victims? Like people who became the victims of Americans, or Americans who became victims?
If it's the former you mean, then I'm sure our prime minister is insulted to see you forget that we bombed you in 1999, too!

I meant "the victims of Americans".

Oh, I forgot about that. On the other hand, my wife got your scholarship, so it's OK. Really.

Quote: Wow, the man who made this thread seems to have a lot of heart. As far as I can tell. It's a shame he's a member of this forum and it's a shame his tax money is probably going to the u.s. where they turn around and use his much needed money to pay army soliders to sit around and smoke dope all day and use his tax money to torture people for their inheritance and use his taxmoney to buy weapons they can use to go kill people for their natural resources.
Btw, that is a very awesome song, especially if you hear it coming from a really talented opera tenor. The first time i heard it was on one the cable stations, it was MHZ i think. There was this european guy singing it on some opera show. Blew me away.
ahh thats all talking talking - no action.
Lets get some action and blame that TRACY BROWN FOO

Hey terje, i got a scholarship for a project from your taxmoney as well. Yay!
As for clubs, i'm more with PH on the issue. See no point in hitting myself off the ground because some 11 wussies somewhere in England (who 90% are not even from there btw) take millions of euroes for playing around for 90 min.
Then again, I do support my national football team, althouh theres again no point, but the evil seed of national mythology have long been planted, so there.
ps: The only local team I support would be womens handball team, since thats the only sport we are of any worth (been Euro-champions). lol Poor us

At the expense of City's place in the UEFA cup, and a lot of money for the rest of the English clubs. Gotta love UFEA for their idea of fairness.
Co-incidentally Liverpool might play Everton in the third round depending on the draw and assuming you get to the third round...

I was realy happy that are Liverpoolian working-class brothers won the Champions League...if not I would not have been able to show my face in school...
Eventhough it was an unxpected win, but the more glorious...And Jerzy finnaly showed his true face known from Feyenoord...
The only thing that dissapoints me is that no one from Slovakia will acomplish such an accomplishment... too bad 1969 won't repeat...

I will, since they qualified fair and square for the tournament, whereas Liverpool snowed and complained their way into the CL. Not very sportsmanslike, if you ask me...

It's not selfish to refuse to give up your deserved place for a side that didn't qualify within the rules
It is however to complain when people break the rules to suit you that they didn't change things enough...
