Help w/ Heroes 2

When I start the game, my cursor won't move.  Any ideas what could be causing it?  And how can I fix it?

Windows XP?

I think is a MS-DOS Incompatibility, sometimes changing the compatibility of the heroes 2 exe file to Windows 95 can help... luck

I couldn't change anything in the profile there. But when I changed to to a small window, then changed it back to full screen the cursor worked...weird.  But it works so I can't complain.  Thanks again to both of you.  I've been struggling with this for a while now and was not able to play.

So much for everything else I should be doing...

I found this on the internet, this must work for heroes 2 too, so try it

I got Might & Magic 7 to work by the following:

1. Right-click on the icon on your desktop and select Properties. Click on the Compatability tab. Click the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and pick Windows 95. Then click OK at the bottom.

There is no compatibility tab, only 'General' and 'version'  Maybe it's different for Win ME, I assume those instructions were for Win XP.

Yep, compatibility modes are an XP-only thing. And ME sucks. Period.
