What she thought she had barely escaped with her sanity and life has now returned to haunt her again. It's a pain so deep and intense that she can't possibly bear to handle it alone. She has found a wonderful support group of people who give her some small amount of peace of mind by helping her through the tough times. That is to say the times when the pain is the closest to the surface of her mind. This pain cannot be ignored and she will forever remain a victim to its twitches and throws until she finally overcomes this-- greatest of all her demons. This demon is the most insidious of all because of whom it was created by. It was not created by her, but rather her very own father figure.

I once said there is no lower insult to a woman than to forcibly steal her pride and dignity. And here we have not some proverbial demon, but true to form, a man who by God's will was supposed to protect and love his own child.

These things I know and yet still I am 'berated' and attacked with the sort of insults that would normally get a person kicked off this message board. But what if the person saying them is the one in charge? Then we find ourselves at yet another time in history when it repeats itself.

The truth is I know well it wasn't her fault because she was so young. And I am insulted. I know well that she didn't 'let' this happen to her. And I am insulted. I know very very well that she is still alive today and proving to the world of her true inner strength and courage for having overcome a type of hardship that scarcely none could possibly or remotely imagine. I fully recognize that because of her life's experiences, she has come to live by a strong philosophy that has brought her through almost indescribable pain and suffering. This philosophy is defined by a pacifist direction. It is one in which she goes on to teach people to help prevent them from taking their own lives after having gone through something so unimaginable. And without question she is a very strong and wonderful person for doing so. It is a great gift to the world that we are so fortunate to have such people like her to help us all through these kinds of tortures. Talking about the pain and communicating your feelings is indeed very helpful.

But you see while I have tried the best I could to walk in your shoes and understand what little I am able to, providing this method of communication, I see you all are not trying to see my side. You see, I am not in the same predicament. I have already prevented the first part of the horror by being a good father. I will not do such evil to my own children. But none can see that here. None can see that I am simply protecting one of my reasons for living in this (at times) cruel and terrible world. My daughters are a gift.

The second part of such horrors (sexual abuse); preventing your adolescent or teenager from becoming a victim brings new challenges. The specific part with which I have fervently disagreed is where some seem to simply accept that it will happen. Not that it might, but that it will. And then begin to teach them to talk and convey personal feelings and such. Teach them to be very passive about it. The reason, as some have stated, is to prevent the death of the victim.

But that's not my philosophy. It is one thing to disagree, but entirely another to insult me. You all write as if I wouldn't sit my girls down and talk with them if it happened to them. But that isn't true. And how could you possibly know? You don't know me, nor I you. So I offer to host a warm meal with my family rather than return the insults. Then you continue to insult me with more name-calling. All of this because you think you know me so well through this Internet forum. And still I will not return your insults.

What I will do is teach my daughters to rise above 10,000 years of female submission. And now in the last 75 or so years women have struggled to gain equality in a male-driven world. Some men don't like the idea of a woman running the show, whether it be in business, sports, religion, or politics. Some women are brutally victimized through rape and torture. I am teaching my daughters to take the right steps to rise above social injustices. I am teaching them to never allow any person, man or woman, to demean their true character, dignity, and self worth. We all have something to contribute to this world.

But inescapably, I have lost according to this forum's administrator. So be it. If winning is what you want then I concede the competition. You have won and I am through with being verbally assaulted by you. Good luck to you GamerDad. I wish you well.
