Wow!
One of the coolest things I think I have personally experienced on the computer up to this point. I can't believe it is free, because it must have taken a while to build and input all the data. Thanks!

hehe no thnkx kayman .. just show me some pics of places u have found on/with it.
But beaware most foto's are some months old .. google keeps updating it when new pics come availible (as I have been told).

Agreed with Khayman - this is easily the coolest thing I've seen yet online 
And I thought the net was for porno, hockeystats and flamewars! Silly me!

My kids love it too - which is an extra plus - never could sit down and look at porno with them, so now we finally have something we can do together

Real time footage would be more something they would use in teh series "Alias" (for those that haven;t see the series yet.. it's a series about spies (CIA, KGB you name it) in which they use all kinds of cool toys .. like real time satelite coverage)!@
Back on topic ,, still waiting for the first cool pic to be posted from Google Earth.

Wow, that program is awesome!
Obviously not finished in some areas, but where it is is really amazing.
I feel that there's a lot of things on it which I don't know how to use, though.

Take a look at the forbidden city in China.
Roman found that yesterday .. looks preety awesome....!@
Try the tilting option to get a helicopter view like view.

LOL ... yeah I must say my comp has difficculty with the earth tool aswell,,, romana's however is fast enough.
Guess its all the proof i need to buy a new comp ...
