the Heroes of Might and Magic : the Movie
when you go to movie theather there is a different atmosphere, a different world. you see a lot of people around, and you do know why they are there, same reason that you're there, entartainment. everytime you go to movie theater surely you must have expect to see a new movie, a new adventure. how many times did you get exited when you see an upcoming movie comercial before the movie, something you'd like to see on white screen but you'd never actually expect to see. my question is would you really get exited if you suddenly see a theater trailer of 'the Heroes of Might and Magic : the Movie' ? i'd say, i could not concentrate the movie i went to see, instead i'd be thinking how the movie of homm is gonna be like or something. so how would you like the movie of this game to be? who would you like to see play whom?
for my opinion, i'd like to see the battle between Gelu and Tarnum, quest for the Sword of Frost, just like that animated battle scene at the beginning of homm4.
i'd also like to see Kate Beckinsale, Christopher Lee, Viggo Mortensen, Oded Fehr, Richard Roxburgh, Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman and Gerard Butler has a role in the movie. it'd be awesome  .

I yet have to see a single movie based on a video game that was done well, regardless of how good the game is. So it would be best not to spoil the good name of the game series with a crappy movie.

huh? resident evil was based on a video game, and i think it was quiet well made. i know there are other movies based on other video games and they aren't very good, most of them were at about present and future time. i don't recall any movie based on medieval age video game, so this may be good. just use your imagination. if Peter Jackson or Steven Spielberg would direct the movie it'd kick a55. by the way how about Christopher Lambert for Lord Haart and Elizabeth Perkins for Sanya from homm3 ?

I'll dress up as a pikeman and you'll dress up as an imp ! Then Somebody else will have to dress up as a gorgon. Or a lizard warrior. How do you think that is going to work? If however, all of the movie is done solely on animation alone then it would be great. I believe I would rush to see that movie. Lord of the Rings was great, no it was awesome. So if HoMM the movie would have the graphics of LOTR I think it would be quite a hit, even among those've never played the game, they might want to play... *gasp*.. H3? What on earth.. H5 better come out first if they want a movie.. Cause H3 and 4 aren't gonna sell like popcorns, due to the fact they've been out for so long already.

i'd say they would surely use animation for creatures since there are alot. i really would like to see an animated titan attacking a town in the movie, i don't think it has ever been done before, at least i haven't seen such a scene.

Video games are, at most times, poor transitions. Medieval-type movies, such as LOTR, have a cult following. A HOMM movie would be great idea, if someone can pull it off. I noticed the offer of having Peter Jackson direct, which is an awesome idea. But then, in true Peter Jackson-esque style, he make a cameo of himself.

Check this out:
This is Phoenix, Linkin Park's bass player, next to his Heroes III look-alike. I couldn't help but notice the similiarity as soon as I saw that Conflux magic hero, so I immediately knew Phoenix would be perfect for that role. They look so alike!
By the way, Phoenix's real name is Dave Farrell, if anyone's interested.

seems good. you know who could play the tarnum from heroes chronicles? Johnny Depp, everytime when i see tarnum's portrait it reminds me of Johnny Depp, don't you think so? but then again if you look at the animated clips of heroes chronicles, his face is different, more like reminds me of Hugh Jackman. it's kinda weird. :/

I've always loved that little dancing leprechaun from Heroes 3, I think he should be in the movie... and to make Leo happy, the film would need lots and lots of pixies 
I'm trying to think who I would cast, maybe TUM could take up acting and play Alamar

i'd be grate if the movie would start with live-action version of that animated clip at the beginning of RoE. i wonder who could play Lady Catherine?
by the way, earlier i mentioned about Christopher Lambert for Lord Haart and Elizabeth Perkins for Sanya from homm3, check it out,

Ya. All he has to do is shave a little and get a hair stylist to style and dye his hair. Then, he would look like the real thing.

how about a tv serie of Homm3, that would give a background for new players of Homm5, right? about what has happened long before the scenario of Homm5, why do we fans like its story, and stuff.

If you were going to go the tv route, I'd like to see an animated series (kinda like the clones wars)
... you'd have much more time to develop story and characters...
