Assigning/Giving Stuff to ally.
You probably saying... you can already give stuff to your ally! I know.
I am talking giving heroes to your ally, it really is not too unrealistic, giving orders to follow another ones orders is pretty real in fact.
Also maybe the same thing for towns/castles... although its stretching it a bit
These are just my ideas, I think it really stinks when your ally gets isra or galth or Thant, and he is not necro, and you are. Giving heroes to your ally would be kewl, don’t you think? Although there would probably be as big as debate with it as hit and run.. such as newbie giving hero with troops levels etc to a seasoned vet in a 2vs2

hehe that would be nice
This idea would be great mainly cause when I ally with you, you steal all my luck, grrr! I have never had such bad luck than when ur my ally, however I have also never seen anyone get the luck you get when ur my ally either. You get dessa kyrre, and I am stuck using Iggy. What ur saying makes sense however the logistics of it are a little hard to come up with.. they would haveta resict a hero getting to move twice in one day, if you know what i mean...

Oh one more thin
how about giving a town to ur ally? I know i have had some allied games when I got elimanted because I lost my towns. However I still wanted to stick around to see the end. But I couldnt take another one. And my ally still has towns so why do I die?? I should either be able to get ownership of one of his towns or just stay alive because my ally isnt dead, and the fight is still on...

I mentioned giving town or castles to allies in my original post, Jex.
I believe that, if you want you should be able to remain in game until game is completely over, regardless if you have no heroes, and no towns. Naturally, you could not do anything, but its better then waiting outside of a game for others to finish.
I have also another idea. There is a pre-game room in heroes; you know the blue screen with solmyr (or a phoenix or Gleu and Gem). Where you pick map etc. How about a POST-GAME room, it would show like stats from your game... like how long game took how long each player took individually. (Then you could be sure, who the real lagger in a game was! ) It would also show Resources gained, used bought, heroes bought. You know the works.

Good idea Anfi ) I have another one too. How about a send key to give an ally an artifact like thru resource panel . Just put another key in there and zip... you could send your ally an artifact you didnt need . Just like sending resources .. This would be a real help when one player is Necro and the other is not , but they get the opposite artifacts that they dont need and the other guy gets what he needs ? I think this would make for a more chanllenging game.

Nah, that would be too easy, ken, the only reason you dont use heroes to trasfer resources is because they dont carry resources...

Hello guys. U have some very nice ideas, especially the one with that post game room. This room shows all the stats in the game and a little chat, very interesting.
As for the artifacts to be transferred through market or something... nahhhh, as Anfi said it is too easy.
It could be good to have the abbility to drop the arties on the ground if you dint need them...

Nice...
Nice idea, Razor_X, its a great way to pass artifacts, but somehow I miss H2 and H1 because there you could find a cursed artifact and you couldn't get rid of it, but in H3 you could just put what u dont need in the inventory, so I say: Bring back the cursed artifacts and especially the Hideous Mask!.

Sharing, hm?
I like your ideas on sharing. I agree that sharing artifacts through the marketplace would be too easy, though. Also, the notion of assigning heroes to an ally's army is a good idea. I was thinking that the best way to do this is to buy them through allied towns. In HOMM 3, they belong to the hero that bought them. But what about the heroes bought belong to the player that owns the town? That might make for the allies working together in giving one another the heroes they need for their alignments (and potentially saving an ally from a potential jam, like one turn from being sieged and no heroes of the proper type to take it up...) Shared Thief's guild would also be a good idea as well...
I sort of like your idea with the cursed artifacts. It'll mean more of a desire by me to encroach my scout into enemy territory with that tax notice that costs 250 gold per turn, I think it was... I find that some of the artifacts in HOMM 3 seem to be cursed already, like the Spirit of Oppression and the Evil Hourglass (no luck or morale bonuses for either army!) or the shackles of war...
