setting movement paths
sorry i dont know if anyone came up with this yet, the lists of post here are so long . anyway i would like more things to do during opponents turn. most of all being able to set your movement paths for heroes. i think this would speed up turns. all you would have to do is click move button for each hero and do fights,collect or whatever.

More automation
Yes, you're right. This automation thing has been mentioned before, but only a few times.
It's really hard when you're commanding an entire multifront war in a undergrounded XL map and you must command many collecting heroes to do the same repetitive task. I usually abandon that tasks and check only high level dwellings. You should be able to preset a route for this heroes. They collect resources and creatures and if an obstacle is encountered (enemy in the path, wandering creature, out of money...) a short message window pops up while the adventure map focus on the hero.

Id like it if you could hand over some of u characters to the computer for a few turns and decide how u want each character to behave like u could have totally not agressive where they move about collecting stuff that they dont have to fight for. You could also let them fight small battles for you. The most important thing is that at any time u could retake control of your heroes as sometimes the computer plas really dumb This would free up alot of time which would help in large games.

There should also be a building queue in castles like in Master of Orion.
