If when you scream he can't hear you, means he is out of range. I think max distance for online gaming is a few hundred meters, but also depends on your voice power.

Hey, I'm new here. The thing that dragged me here was the ICTC8 competition. I simply cannot resist creating things, especially with a good excuse.
Sadly, my experience is limited; I've only played HOMM1, HOMM4, and HOMM5. Chances may stand that I get HOMM7, especially if it gets good reviews.

hey i'm new
i've been playing the heroes games since heroes 1 first came out and i was in elementary school. loved them all the way up until 5 (2d graphics forevz!).
i've known about the heroes community for a while and i've gone back and played heroes 3 off and on over the years but never checked out the online community/mods/etc.
i looked in the newbie forum and didn't see any post detailing suggested mods, top mods, HOW to mod, or anything like that - is there a post somewhere like that? i've only ever played the base game and don't know anything about anything else. thanks!

I'm not new. But it's the first time I'm writing on this thread.
I have played Heroes since heroes 3. Then after that I played Heroes 1 and 2. So I'm a huge fan of Heroes. I have also played H4-6. Not so found of 5 and 6 really.. Now I play Heroes 3 with VCMI almost everyday.

Hey, I'm somewhat new here. I'm sure I had an account here years ago but I can't think what the username/pass/email would begin to be...
Anyway Heroes II was pretty much my first game, I remember getting it when it was ported over to Acorn, I was obsessed with it as a kid and it'll always be one of my favourite games. I then was lucky and got Heroes I in the Price of Loyalty expansions box. Few years after that I picked up Heroes III when we got a Windows computer. Number of years later I played V then IV and VI.
Some might know me from mmh7.com? Anyway its nice to meet you!

Hi, new to this board but not HoMM. Have being playing the 3rd since 99, on and off, and now got some more interest after I saw what HotA and VCMI can do. Came here to read some more and wow, there is quite a lot of additional content here.

Hello.
I'm Scorpion - a gamer that has been playing Heroes of Might & Magic for 12 years.
I played every Heroes game up to date, and I just found this community when looking for mods to install.
I have been browsing the forum for about a week now, and I am loving the look of the community.
I cannot really say anything more really, so hai I guess

32 yo, buffed sort of fellow, fan of HoMM since second installment, but played H4 the most (find it the most fun to play). Cant's stand even listening about H6.
Hm, amateur bodybuilder, writer and volunteering in helping Heroic project (heroes-based game) with artwork, editing and ideas in general.
And fluffy. Thoroughly fluffy. As cuddle as a panda can be.

Wow, i am here for about a month if not more, though i did know the forum for years and still i have never introduced myself here...
Here goes then
Name's Michael, 28 years old and a student (or researcher if you prefer) or better phD candidate at the field of Molecular Biology and genetics.
Currently living in Greece, originally from Cyprus.
I love reading, i am a casual gamer and i consider the Heroes games my favorite though i don't play as much as i used to.
I sometimes write poetry and rarely short stories (most of them unfinished)
I guess that's about it

Another newbie here. i know this should have been my first post, but i cant wait to solve my problem so i posted in another thread first (http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=8288&pagenumber=257). I am playing heroes 2,3,3.5,4,5 though my favourite is the 3.5.The main reason i am here is to find a solution and get password protected turns so that we can play by email without seiing each other's turn. And who knows maybe i can find some freaks good enough to defeat me or my team of Heroes.

Name is Mikhail. Mikhail Efimenko. 17, loser, slacker. Fan of HoMM since I was, what, 5 ? Or something like that. HoMM 3-best. No doubt about it.
Hobbies-None. I watch TV a lot, and I mean A LOT. Favorite TV-shows-Big Bang Theory, Friends, Charmed, AHS, Doctor Who, House M.D, Supernatural, Sherlock, Elementary, X-Files and the list goes on and on. Also like to taste exotic things and drinks. Am interested in music, but do not play in a band. Favorite type of music-all sorts of rock. Also some electro and good pop-music, but sadly that doesn't exist anymore. Am big fan of Nirvana. Live in Belgium, most sucky and rainy land you can imagine. But, however, we have got some awesome folkore *sarcasm*. Or not. Can never tell. Like the rain, wandering in big cities (bigger-better). Am bit of a loner, not very social. Like collecting old stuff, like CD's or Tapes or dishes or... Fan of Bionicle, am kinda of active in the russian community (not really, am a sucky MOCer and it is difficult to be active when you are thousands miles away from Russia.).Am Russian by nationality, Belgian by passport, hell do I know by heart. Speak 5 languages (kind of...fluent in French, Dutch, Russian and English, can understand German). Well, that is it for me.

Hello everyone.
I'm Mark, 38 years old. I live in the Netherlands. I've been an avid fan of HOMM since about a year after HOMM 3 came out. So far I've only played HOMM 3 too. Highest I've scored so far is 342.
I saw this forum pass by last week and decided to sign up and learn and talk about the game to enhance the fun!
