Hello everone, nice to meet you all!
Hello everyone, I'm new here in this great site! I am playing Heroes of Might and Magic II for four years straight now and I am waiting to borrow the 3rd installment from my friend on Monday. I am confident in saying that Heroes is like the "game of the century"!

Not sure but i guess Lizardmen will forever be remember for being angry at something incomprehensible. As knightdougal will probably be for spam (after all the people that actually knew him leave ill pass on the legend) and Redsoxfan for his multiple accounts.
Wonder if thats what they were aiming for all along

Hi everyone
i have never used a forum like this before so i apologize now for asking what may seem like simple questions... (after all, i am a n00b)
1: i have questions i want to ask but i cant start new posts (i understand why), so is there certain forum where i can just ask Q's by replying to an existing thread?
2: im finding the search function very frustrating. im using all the normal "+" "-" and () assists etc, but seem to keep drawing completely useless info. Any suggestions? (if i could sort this out, i wouldnt need an answer to q:1)

I just got registrated so, here I am to introduce myself to all of you.
I come from Croatia, and I'm 26yo male. I am playing heroes from 1st day, since we couldnt pick races in multiplayer hehe and I'm a great fan of this turn based strategy.
So since I got HOMM5 and Hammers of something I decided to get some more info on that here, and to meet all of you world-wide fans of HOMM.

Hi Angelito (and everyone else)
thank you again, glad ive come to the right place
in a random map im play atm, ive just gotten the spell "fly" for the 1st time, but it doesn't seem to work.
my understanding is that i enter my spell book while im running around the map, cast it and can move over fixed objects on the adventure map.
when i cast it, it uses up the required spell points, but then nothing happens and when i move the mouse cursor anywhere, it shows the normal icon for moving, but if i place it past a fixed object, like a tree, mountain or whatever the icon vanishes.
I have tried it at the beginning of a day with full movement, pointing the mouse cursor at a place thats only 3-4 hexs away, but then the cursor vanishes and i cant see it on the map.
what am i doing wrong? or is it a bug?
if anyone can help, i would gladly appreciate it.

BTW i allready found alot of interesting theorycraft stuff here, but im not looking for walktroughs. I like to do stuff (in HOMM) on the harder way, xp is much better like that.
