Well let's stick to humour...
How about just say a joke and get someone to answer or something... I don't know...

One way to make this thread really fun would be to pretend that we're playing some sort of strategy game, you know? Only we should make our posts at least a wee bit descriptive, so as to try and steer away from spam.

An example, hmmm?
Well then...
I build a village at the fork of a river, knowing that it is an easily defended position. Good start to a thriving empire, I say. Hopefully there aren't any humongous bloodthisty abominations around that might wipe out my people...
Stupid, I know. But it just might work.

Not exactly a story. Just foolin around.
Hey, that's pretty nice of you, Rage!
I've sent all the men I could arm to the gates... Hopefully the others won't panic and run away. I've started a contest for the best weapon, so I might not run out of pointy sticks too fast...
...but nobody knows when a humongous bloodthirsty abomination would decide to eat us for lunch. Maybe we'll get lucky.

scout runs to the village leader,
"My lord!! Some bloodthirsty abominations are approaching from...oh crap! they're already here..."
ok, i was just fooling, now let's do some serious fooling
A mysterious stranger appears on sight, far from the gate. He sees the abominations, but he stands as ignoring the attack. is he the one who's behind this? or is he someone else?

The village leader was not happy. There were humongous bloodthirsty abominations within sight, and the best thing achieved through the contest was a pump-action slingshot. We'll have to manage with pointy sticks, he thought.

ahhh...story game , not spam
the village leader was afraid, but not afraid to die, afraid to lose his people to those damnable abominations. they brought in some rusty swords and small axes that might help them...

the topic was how to avoid spamming this thread!
I'm not real good for stories... maybe I can start something else and we can have to subjects, totally different, in one thread!
OK ....
so like ... beer?
Yah! beer! Hockey season is starting soon so time for sweet beer. Ok, now give us the most known beer of your country. Sadly, in Canada it's Labatt Blue.
so, how did I do?

Molson Canadian is indeed a popular beer, exept in québec where it's called Tremblay! Canadian just wouldn't sell there.
So, you are from Canada, I gather?
I said Labatt Blue because it's what most foreigners know about our beer ... sad but true. I find it tastes like piss... :S
