Academy and Sylvan creature list
I don't want to post the Sylvan and academy dedicated topic because we don't have enough information but in a russian magazine has been revelead the creature list of this towns:
Academy:
Master Gremlin
Obsidian Gargoyle
Golem
Mage
Master Genie
Rakshassa
Titan.
return of the master gremlins  I think must be better halflings
Sylvan:
Spirit
War Dancer
High Elf
Battle Unicorn
Dendroid Soldier
High Druid
Gold Dragon
The return of the gold dragon and the druid... I think this is ok  I'm happy with this lineup
We have almost the same creatures like Heroes 3 the only units that sounds new for me are a "Rakshassa" maybe some agyptian unit??, and the "spirit" maybe some kind of sprite and the war dancer sound like the elves with knifes... we will have to wait until official information is avaible
did you notice that there are no dwarves in the towns so far?? I guess we will have a dwarve faction and a orc barbarian faction in the expasion

Again no pegasi? That's a shock. Why can't they forget about war dancers (naked men to mate the w(b)itches?) and have the pegasi back instead? The rest is OK. As far as the names are concerned.

Rakshassa are tiger-like women from Indian mythology. Naga > Celine Dionne > Rakshassa. Only the sickest of minds could replace the badass Pegassi for a male stripper. Male strippers are [color=pink]gay[/color] (I sure hope I won't be sued for insulting [color=pink]gay[/color] people (or male strippers)). I mean they are still elves who ride 'em. It's not like replacing the Medusa, 'couse there should be more Dark Elves in the Dungeon (not that there should, but i guess that's the reason the designers neglected the Medusa). By the way, am I the only one who noticed the superbad resamblance between a lot of Heroes V fractions\creatures and some Dungeons and Dragons materials?

I just realized there are no orcs, goblins, ogres, trolls... I smell a barbarian town in the first expansion...

ah..  No werefolves, no phoenix and same old academy with boring gremlins and gargoyles. How they fit sand land anyway? Hope that game will rocks anyway..

Did u all expect them to keep the same creatures? How boring would that be? Im glad they are mixing it up a bit even if some loved creatures are being replaced by dungeons and dragons varieties. I think, though, if you looked at all the original D&D monsters manuals you would find that every creature in HOMM 3 is mentioned in D&D somewhere.
BTW, congrats on your promotion to Moderator Conan.

i just want to hurry up and play the game
all the creatures look alright except maybe the unicorn. i thought it would be a a bit stronger

well we don't know exactly until the reveal all the neutral units... and I guess will be a good number of neutral creatures... but I think if we dont have orcs or dwarves as neutral units... then for sure will have them in the expasion pack...

I agree!!! Who knows what creatures the game has until he doesn't play it? I only hope that even if they will keep the same creatures, at least they will change their looks! I really like the idee with the druid!Sounds cool

Glad to see the Dendroids are back, slow but still great defense. They made an easy target but would always slow the enemy down

Why does the titan look like the HoMM3 energy elemental?
Also, with two towns full of elves ( ) and not a single Dwarf unit, I'm outie. I hate this game already.
