HoMM V Devils hold a 8 pointed star which is a sign of chaos, they don't hold a cross!

The HOMM V Archdevil & Devil are great! although, unlike the HOMM III Devils they have less human shape, they are brutal! they look like monsterous beasts, a fine ywist I say! the HOMM IV Devil looks sily with a fork instead of one of his hands.
I personaly think thay they should have made a more of a human face for the HOMM V Devil, but it as the best there is for now, in my opinion.

I say the HOMM V devil reigns supreme. Especially the arch-devil. Best ever in my opinnion. The weapon is cool and original. The devil itself looks like a beast from hell ready to bring death and destruction. 10/10
And it has good stats. If you take into account that it can summon a Balor.....if it summons one Balor per Devil then it is easily the strongest unit in my opinion. The Balor has 110hp on its own,casts magic and has decent attack. That duo can crush anything
Conclusion: the have the 'coolness' factor, great looks, nice stats and can summon Balors. I vote 10/10

H3 all the way the H4/5 ones dont look anything like the devil well lol what i think the devil would look like anyway lol

As with most humanoid creatures, H5 gave the devil an extremely anime look.

Bigger is better all the way..
Heroes III devils certainly got nice designs, but just doesn't look scary and powerful enough... they are close to the best, tho
I give my vote to HOMMV Archdevil because I think devils are suppose to be representatives from hell--- accomplished by the burning flames on his body. The weapon he is holding- the cross-blade- shows that he is ready to destroy any good-old "orderly" creature (with a sense of irony..) The 3D look just blows me off

yeah, i like H3 archdevil he looks cool, with the evil smile and the appealing (like the succubi do nowadays). in H5 they're those brutal unintelligent hellbeasts.
P.S. Also - A Scythe is much cooler and much more suiting to a devil, IMO, than an axe, no matter how firey and infernal it is.
