Poll Question:
Topes!?

Right some more noobie questions here for all you vets if i should be breaking week 3 on jebus right? then i should be hitting topes week 3 right? but i dont really know what im doing when it comes to fights in the topes!Because with rampart i hardly ever upgrade to gold unless i dont get level 7 dwells or a 2nd rampart town. So that means my greens would move 3rd in the round right??How should my combat tactics be working in this or should i just forget rampart and play with castle?

Feedback would be most appreciated

First of all Stevie, i would suggest u first try to understand how a new topic and on the other hand a new poll works.
If u ask a question and want some answers or walktroughs, u open a new topic, and NO new poll.
If u ask "What town is best for attacking a tope week 3 ?", then u can prolly make a new poll with all towns as given choices to vote for.

Jebus = castle only template. Period. Forget about everything else.
Castle can have 10+ archangels early week 2. And 10 is not the limit! With enough cons and portals you can have as many as 20 of them on week 2!!!. And AA is by far the strongest creature in the game. To get the idea of just how powerful they are, make a test map where 1 hero with 100AAs fights against another hero with 100 of any other level 7. I think even some of the vets may get surprised with the results (especially those that think that AAs will lose to ancients).
Castle also happens to be the best for taking the topes with no losses because of AA's resurrection ability.

not of what i know of nebuka usually everyone on jebus plays castle plus people fear that if you get a random town you might get necro

never new that lol maybe people arnt experienced enough with each town even though its pretty basic week 1 build army and castle week 2 economy week 3 upgrades no that hard is it

true angel all the money needed is on the map itself jebus is rich enough but i guess im not experienced enough to break week 3 plus being rampart puts me down a bit because they suck at guard fights.........And btw was reading your fantasy thread and i would choose

start a game with a jebus player and the first thing he will do is pick castle Kuma and I play random towns or the diplo version. But what you have to expect is that if your opponent plays castle, he'll prob have double his AA's at least.

Kuma solution is good...if your opponent picks castle, then there should be no hero/dwelling/hive limits. Jebus/castle players like to ban what beats them which is extremely lame.

If they pick castle, tell them these limits should not be there, if they disagree...dont play em Such a narrow boring game anyway. Play extreme!!

im no expert in jebus and in heroes nevertheless.But from my small experience i can tell it's much easier fighting the big guards of a closed template like jebus or extreme with castle than it is with some of the other towns and this for some simple reasons:first one is obvious, the cons advantage;there is very easy to take even a full cons week 2 on a template like jebus, blockbuster or extreme given you build angels week 1 and you managed to upgrade them week 2.
Out of the 3 templates, jebus is the most easy to achieve this and having 9 lvl 7's week 3 when your oponent has only 5 makes it much more easier to win.
Given the cons and lvl 7 dwell's are banned from the begining, most people still choose castle on jebus cos it's an easy town to play with.By this i mean that because of their high speed, you will always have the initiative when engaging in a fight against the map.
Also the ressurecting ability helps alot especially now when most players don't bother to build a mage guild lvl 4 to have ressurection.
resurecting themselves means a great advantage and this is confirmed in big fights 100 times out of 100.
Take for exemple taking a full tope.Week 3 this could mean lots of loses or even defeat with a town like stronghold.you will need powerfull enough fodders to keep those dragons away from your behemots.At least for me taking a tope week 3 with stronghold may mean losing all my goblins and most of my ogres if a full tope.May also mean losing ancients too if i miscalculate the fodders.I love playing stronghold but on jebus i wouldn't risk a full tope week 3 without a lvl 7 dwell or some good magic.
On the other hand, breaking could prove much more difficult when having only a speed 13 unit in your ranks.Same goes for extreme where castle is a way easier town to ply with.
Overall, IMHO castle is powerfull on templates you can build angels soon and where db is not an issue(castle would suck on balance against strong and rampart).It's easier to play with but imho people playing only castle are lame.Id rather do an all random 160% or 200% on jebus to keep it fun than setting the same goals(building angels day 5, upgrading mid week 2 and breaking week 3 day 1) over and over again.
That just takes the fun part out of the game.
I can relate to what Maretti said someday that a good player can make the difference by a week 2 break and make even a boring week 3 day 1 break on jebus game more spectacular.That's what makes this template worth playing imho.rest is automatism after a while.

@mini:id recomend you to try and play all the random templates and discover the fun in all of them instead of searching recepies of succes on one template. In the end this is just a game, a confrontation between two people, between two brains that have to think different.Using the same algorithm over and over again just to get some tourny points spoils all the fun, and it's not worth it.
