How many of you play DotA?
just wondering what ur favourite hero is, and item builds...
i like the Troll Warlord, with
Mask of Madness
Power Treads
Crystalys > Burize
Boots of Travel
Divine Rapier
...if you get to boots o ftravel then you should have no problems amassing a further 7800 gold.

Troll doesn't need Mask of Madness, his attack speed is fast enough.
Anyway, i like to have 2 bashers on my troll, switch to melee, and watch the helpless victim get bashed to death. Boots of Travel > Treads for Troll coz' Troll's move speed is damn slow. And maybe a BKB if alot of casters and disablers.
My personal favorite is Leviathan the Tide Hunter.
End game items: Treads, Mask of Madness, Guinsoo's Scythe, Blink Dagger, Heart of Tarrasque, Battle Fury

Hmm . . .
Honestly, I've never understood the attraction of "DoTA". It is unbelievably monotonous, everlasting in its game-time, and ends with the prehistoric concept: "I AM GOD AND MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE."
Now of course, if that concept is appealing to you then by all means you should go out and purchase the WCIII disc set post haste.

Hey, u wanna know the ultimate melee hero killer?
Bradwarden
Boots of Travel
5 Blade Mails
Blade Mail gives 20% returned damage, plus 5 armor.
You get 5 of those, thats 100% returned damage and 25 armor, plus Bradwardens natural thorns aura makes it around 160%.
So, say the melee character attacking you does 100 damage Your armor will reduce that to like 60 damage, but the thorns will return like 160 damage. Its virtually impossible to kill with a melee hero, unless they happen to amass around 30k and purchase 6 satanics for the life steal, but that wont happen.

It's pretty fun, but it is monotonous.
2X where do you get the blade mail? Sounds pretty good.
I think the best hero is the faceless void. Especially with cranium basher.
With upgraded skills including his ultimate, he can use Time Walk to instantly appear next to your enemy, slowing him by 60% as you appear, using Chronosphere to stop all movement in the area of your choice (including him) for 1-7 (i think) seconds depending on your skill level, all the while you can bash him with a few cranium bashers, and when he is released he will have taken a big deal of damage from the chronosphere and will be unable to run because of cranium basher and time lock freezing him ever 3rd or less attack. The only way to escape a good faceless void is the Tinkers suicide.

Blade Mail = Chain Mail + Blades of Attack + Recipe, all together around 1600.
Another hero i like is Luna (The huntress one)
Get her ult, get scepter, and refresher orb, go into the like middle of a battle, cast, refresh, and then cast again and it will kill most heroes.
Each hero can be hit 5 times max with scepter, it casts 12 times at level 3 w/ scepter. So thats two heroes it hits, and another one twice. Now if the same heroes who got hit the first time get hit the second time..

Personally i think blade mail's a waste of money. It costs almost 1800, and doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I'd rather buy a hammer(which can be turned into various objects). That centaur with blade mails is fine, but that means no melee unit will ever attack it. And, considering that it has no form of spell protection i shall be kept at bay with spells and stuns.
My preferred items for the centaur has treads, dagger of escape, heart, aegis, mask of madness, and maybe an additional disable, say guinsoo's scythe, or a black king bar if the game has many spellcasters.

Defender of The Ancients DOTA. I have started playing these kind of maps with 3 corridors  and DOTA is the best of all.My favourite hero is Furion with deso )
