I think I got it now, city of enlightment is Inferno cause it is the only town where you actualy can see the sun itself!!!

I carefully watched all HoMM 3 creatures but I couldn't see any obvious gender differences. maybe Medusa (female) - Medusa Queen with man boobs (male)? :-)

The gender of skeletons cannot be determined due to some vital details missing, so I doubt that's it. The upgraded ones do wear the flatter sort of breastplate though.

first of all, they are not an unupgraded and an upgraded version of the same creature, and 2nd, the different gender isnīt obvious.
One more hint:
Read the question exactly....donīt leave anything out....donīt put more in

Ok, an answer could be either building, town or a creature. You can not name genies, but angelito didn't say anything about their dwell (altar of wishes). Is altar of wishes a correct answer?

Upgrade=upgraded version of the game?
The only hero I can think of who changed is Lord Hart/Sir Mullich who are both male.
Can't think of any creatures who changed.
Both Mutares are female.
Does this involve WOG or HOMM1,2 or 4 in any way?
