No problem, I understand your stance, I myself pick wisdom on large maps because I will need it.
But the difference between me and you is that I won't come again and again with futile generalities as: fortress is weak, all heroes need wisdom, magic heroes can be good, and so on. While all those can and are true -occasionally-, they are certainly not proven game-play facts, based on probabilities, and results. Is only your play style that you incorrectly claim -and consider- as general rule.

So basically what you are saying is that you are right and I am wrong. Maybe you are right, but I am also right or we could just agree to disagree again?
If you notice I usually post imo, meaning it is not a fact, but is how I see things. And remember again we play the game very differently...

Case is, this is not a matter of opinion; one can be proven wrong (The Spaghetti Monster know's I was many times). Just arranje a match and prove your hipotesis. Stream it, please.

Why do I need to prove anything?, it is just my opinion, that's all.

Back to topic:
The mechanic Salamandra explained for eagle eye -> make it a set with "Speculum" and "Spyglass" to see enemy towns, mines and heroes on map depending on scouting skill. But its quite a large bonus for treasure artifacts.

Technically I am not even sure it can work, as removing fog of war from specific squares then replace it when eagle eye hero not active is cumbersome, especially if during his turn, he moved in/out these specific areas. At least, in wog I wouldn't be able to script it.
What would work is create a specific action, like pressing a key when this hero is active. Press key, get all things in visible area. Then when you move or change hero, all data is reset.

Cause this is one of the most pretinent problems in the world today. People think they can have an "opinion" about things that are objectively verifiable and their opinion weighs the same as to be right. The Global Warming comes to my mind.

So I should just tag along as a mindless zombie, agreeing to the "data that is claimed"? Sorry, but that's not gonna happen, nobody can tell me what to believe, I like to make my own opinion, thank you very much.
Why are we even still debating this, the topic is called Combo Artifacts, for a reason.

At least it works for towns and mines/lvl8 creature buildings in wog. As for Nagash his WoG speciality also creates fog, same effect reverse should be possible at the end of the turn, at least my logic dictates but it's quite possible it needs some more code to do so.

No ideally you'd test each of the claims to its limit (play a lot against the best players you can find), and then form your own opinion like you say. Also sorry to reply so late to this.
