If I remember correctly, ghost heroes are of speed 9 and still affected by terrain. The trick with elementals only works with surrendering however... fleeing will just give the hero a basic creature upon retiring. There are easier ways to achieve a ghost hero, but it is generally considered cheating (apart from fulfilling quest guard requirements with just what was asked for...). Now, for really boosting through rough terrain without pathfinding, put a nomad (or any other neutral creature in need of transport) in heroes first army slot, and native creature in others! Game will behave like said nomad was not in army, but still count the bonus -> desert+1 rough terrain for free

Is'nt that a bug or is there some strange meaning behind it?
Perhaps a job for HotA or HD mod to fix...

Does anyone knows how Crystal Dragons crystal generation works? I'm pretty sure if you have one dragon in one hero you get 1 crystal each day but I'm also sure if you have 800 in one hero (got them from a battle with 4000 using an hero with a Sucubus, in WoG) you don't get 800 a day.

Is that correct? I'm pretty sure I was getting 1 each day the time I only had one single dragon in one hero in the "The Bogmire Brothers".

I wanted to know how defense for behemoth is rounded.
so here I test:
1-)100 AB with 22 attck + bless vs Stone golem with 10 Amor
result: 10250 Damage
2-)100 AB with 22 attck + bless vs Stone golem with 10 Amor
result: 6150 Damage
3-)100 B with 20 Attack + Bless vs stone Golem with 10 amor
Result: 8750 Damage
4-)100 B with 20 Attack + Bless vs stone Golem with 10 amor
Result: 5250 Damage
also, Behemoths does exact dmg to Angels (4.0 amor) and ghost dragons with (3.4 armor)
the defense value seems to be rounded down (even if it was integer)

Is there a list of ambient sounds and corresponding dwellings and objects?
For example:
LOOPPEGA.wav - Enchanted Spring dwelling
LOOPARCH.wav - Archer's Tower dwelling and so on...
