These times are definately a changin'
I am afraid it has come to this. So you may ask yourselves 'Has Trogdor become a complete and utter nutjob for no reason?' Sometimes I am not even sure myself. Yes, I have been through a lot over the time I have been at this organisation we know and love as Heroes Community *bows down at HC's holy scriptures*, but I guess my time here has not been without my difficulties.
During my time here I have had my fair share of feuds. I have not gotten along with Stiven at all, and I guess I'll never will because the poor guy is nowadays forbidden to enter the dorrs of these forums. I have had many disagreements with one Lord Woock, some of which haven't yet been resolved. Mvassilev was also giving me a hard time in the past, but nowadays it's just for muckaround. Dingo would even brag about how much of a spammer he was compared to everyone else, and maybe he was, but in the early days I just refused to buy into it. Perhaps he was just mucking around like mvass was, but then he left and some other individuals took over the Volcanic Wastelands. But then one day, he returned and called me a n00b. Perhaps he forgot to take his medication...........
While I am still at it, LadyGuinevere and a_rebirthing_flight took over the spamming roles and I was terribly victimised. There were a few others for whom I can't remember, but acted like complete mental cases. Well LadyGuinevere left for a while, and a_r_f became Lord_PC and halted his old ways. It was all fine until recently when LadyGuinevere came back. Believe me, I haven't felt any more screwed up since the original LG saga.
And for those people who have labelled me as a spammer, you are right on the money. In the past most of my time has been spent in the Wastelands, and lately I have been placing unnecessary posts in the threads down there, which explains my frequent references to room temperature beer, crudely drawn filler material and used farm tractors. In case if you are wondering what the heck is with that room temperature beer releated blabber, it goes all the way back to a thread in the wastelands about warm beer. It reminded me of a Strongbad Email called 'Property of ones', which was about beer (which Strongbad calls ones for some reason), and he mentions about how the Europeans drink room temperature ones. The crudely drawn filler material reference is part of a quote by Homer Simpsons in which he mentions something about the Tracey Ullman show (I have no idea what episode it was thouygh). The used farm tractor references are from a few threads about used farm tractors that have popped up in the Tavern, or perhaps it might have been the Other Side of the Monitor.
I would say that the Wastelands is dumbing down, and I, for one, am to blame.
The point I am trying to get through is this. from now on I will no longer place unnecessary posts and unnecessary references to certain things. From now on I will no longer post senseless bullplop like I have in the past.
For I am the new, improved Trogdor.
Thankyou for listening you have been a great audience.
But no, I am not leaving HC.

GG, I see your point very clearly. We have all made unexpected references to stuff but there comes a time when we all have to think of brand new references that people never expect you to say. Just the other week I made a reply to a post Acu made in the wastelands saying that he looked like he had just come from one of Paris Hilton's parties. So if I do something random in the wastelands it will happen less regularly and possibly turned but mre than likely there will be new references that may exist for only one day.
What I see, however, is the dumbing-down of the wastelands. Just about every topic has become a 'hey, you, read this' thread or something similar to TitaniumAlloy's 'k' thread. I, for one, believe that there needs to be a bit more variety in the threads posted at the wastelands. Sure, we have all been abused some stage of our lives (consider all the abuse that TUM received from all those so called 'cybergeeks'), but we all move on wait for some other rivalry to start. Everyone's abusing Acu as of now, perhaps from the people who abuse Acu think that it is the current HC fashion. Posting trends come and go, but the wastelands spam accummulates.
My point is that my spamming will be on-off. Every now and then I may mention room temperature beer, but it won't be as extreme as in the past few weeks.
Oh, and FOG, are you stealing my references to room temperature beer like miru had stole my old avatar? Poor miru just doesn't seem to give it back.

I gotta agree with Aculias on this one. You've got nothing to prove to any of us. This is just some silly online community and if you ever see it as more than that, and take any of our judgements seriously than you need to get away from the computer for a while.
I don't even take judgements of people in RL seriously. The only opinions of anyone about you that should matter are your friends, your family and yourself. If someone doesn't like you then screw them. That's their problem not yours. Unless you were being a dick to them.
When I was younger and I posted here, I came here because I wanted to feel accepted and I wanted attention. Now I come here when I'm bored. Try to avoid coming here for acceptance and attention. This is what I see from this post, but I may be wrong.
I have nothing against self-improvement, so go for it. But like Aculias said, you have nothing to prove to any of us. You are yourself and if you like yourself than that's all that matters. If you enjoy posting nonsense in wastelands, then keep doing it. It's never hurt anyone. I love to post nonsense in wastelands. It's fun.

While that's more or less true about going through changes, I hope you realize that if Trogdor is really being frank about things, he might feel a little put down by people calling his post "a toss" or something of that nature. Trogdor may or may not be offended at all, but I sure would hate to receive the same kind of responses if I wanted to post something personal. It downplays the significance of whatever's written.
I don't know how serious Trogdor is trying to be, as I haven't spoken to him personally on the matter. However, I'll just trust him for now - as his online neighbor - that he's being truthful.
