Things that are often forgotten...
...during playing a game:
1. To trade not usefull creatures at the freelancers guild, especially if you have lots of marketplaces.
2. That there is a 10% chance to get the upgrade from the knowledge tree for free, so that even scouts can run there.
3. That u get resources at artefact seller in your town for useless spell scrolls.
4. That you can summone boats away from your AI opponent with advanced watermagic, so you dont have to pay for it.
5. That if youve to defend your town, every not-upgrading building will increase the damage of the turret shooters, even useless buildings you normally wont built.
6. That youve to buy pikemen when offered in a refugee camp, otherwise they will be offered again next week.

I didn't know that about pikemen and refugee camp. Does that mean if you don't buy them, they will go on forever? Or is it just for the second week?

I dont know if it does go on forever, cause i always buy them.
Theres a refugee around were it is fixed to get pikemen for the first time you visit that specific camp. If you dont buy them they will be there the next week. This camp is often copied on fixed map. An example is the map Battle for Bastards 2, were the camps on the islands give pikes (so uve to be there within the first week). You can test it there if u want .

As far as i know, the "pikemen in refugee camp" issue has a simple reason. If the refugee camp isguarded, u will always find pikemen there on your first visit. After the guard is defeated, it will change weekly.

I think they were worth 0 or close to 0 gold last time I've checked, so I wasn't able to get any res. Maybe it is because I didn't have markets, who knows?

They give nothing on altar of sacrifice, but u can sell them in artefact merchant.

With one market, scrolls sell for 500 gold or 2 wood/ore or 1 for other resources. Spell level doesn't matter.
Additional markets increase gold by 125 each. Other resources increase slowly.

8. That heroes from neutral or evil towns can sacrifice creatures.
9. That blue can cast expert air or earth view without losing any spellpoints for a fight.
10.To dismiss Shatki, Galthran, Ignatius or Bron on the end of the week if not main.

9. I asume he means if you have maximum spellpoints and you might be attacked by red next turn. In that case you will have max spellpoints for that fight cause these spells only cost 1 spellpoint and you will get that back.
10. These heroes often start with better armies than other heroes. By dismissing them you will have the chance of getting them in your tavern the next day, and thereby get some exstra army. 7 exstra basilisks or 10 exstra elfs are allways nice.

I have often been offered other creatures than pikemen week 1 from a guarded refugee camp on random maps. Most times its pikemen but not allways.
