Genie gender??
Me and my friends have had a little discussion about the gender of the genie. They think that the genie is a female and that the master genie is a male. Personally i find that riddicoulus. Why would a creature change sex just because it is upgraded. They don't belive me so i decided to post it here to shut there mouths once and for all. This is my first post and you may find this question stupid, so do i but i just wan't to prove to them that i'm right.

i think the unupgraded is female and the upgraded is male. it is funny but what's the problem really?

Theres not really a problem with it i just find it weird that using a small sum og money on a unit will change it's sex.

Or maybe you shouldn't think of the unit graphics as a portrait of every single one of it's kind. Why don't I see you complaining that every archer has the exact same height and face?
You should think of the creature graphic as a single representative of the whole group. This way we can assume that both kinds of genies have both males and females among them, but - not to discriminate either - the creators of the game decided to make one gender represent one group of genies.

I think this guy (or woman) is right. Do you know how much a sex operation these day costs?! And you get it for 50 in this game. Boy, I better tell Michael Jackson. He would be interested.
Also, even if we accept the theory that the Genie is a female (i've always looked it as male though), then we cant really name it that way, since it's clearly not a feminine gender. With her (his) deep inner predisposition to change sex, we should call it transsexual at least.

Step 1: Find genie lamp. Hire genie for 650 gold and a gem. You now have a male genie.
Step 2: Take genie across the sea. You now have a female genie. (Or, if you like your female genies cheap and easy, hire a native from a town.)
Step 3: Pay your genie 50 more gold. You now have a male genie.
Step 4: Transport genie through portal to new world. You now have a female genie. 
According to the H4 campaigns, genies are shapeshifters. Let's take them at their word.
