To many Europeans Russ, this is no big surprise. Still, even though the video and many other sources of information going against the cartoon logic of the Bush administration are very credible, the thruth will probably be somewhere in the middle.
In my opinion it's best to keep your mind open and always take other perspectives into consideration, no matter how convinced you are about something. Thruth really is a matter of perspective, and if you shut that out, conviction can easily turn into fanatism.
Be it as it may, the true victims here are the thousands of American civilians who lost their families or lives, the inhabitants of Afghanistan who had nothing to do with this, and the people of Iraq who are in the midst of a civil war now. Such a staggering loss of human lives and waste of potential and for what?

If all it takes to change your world view is a 80 min documentary you found on the Net, then something is seriously wrong with your world view.
Having said that, I must admit that it is quite a nice movie indeed.

What's up with the patronizing attitude towards me? This thread is NOT about me. I DID NOT ask anyone to evaluate my view of the world (especially considering the fact that you have NO idea about what it is).
Btw, Wiseman, you may want to consider learning English some day if you don't understand the meaning of the phrase: "It is one of those things that may change how you view the world." You can start by comparing it to something like "This movie has changed my view of the world."
Having said all that, I'd just like to add that while this video did not have a very drastic effect on my view of the world, I think it is possible for some dramatic event to change it A LOT faster than 80 minutes. However, I think that for many Americans who are open enough to accept the facts shown in this this video, it may be a real eye opener.

You need to see the documentary yourself. If I try to summarize it, this thread will turn into "bash Russ because he said something that is considered a taboo in our country" thread. The movie isn't very big, with my cable connection (by far not the fastest) it was streaming 3x faster than the speed of movie. I guess with dial up you may want to wait until it preloads about 3/4 before starting to watch it, so just open this link, leave it running for about an hour, then come back, scroll the movie back to the beginning and watch it.

There were no b-52's in 1945, in fact it was a
b25. Just because this guy says it is so and made a
movie, does not mean it is so. There are alot of
questions, many leaps of logic and very little
actual proof.

Wow! He said it was b-52 while in reality it was b-25 - that definitely means that the movie is full of it!!! I mean - the model of the plane that he mentioned abruptly while talking about different high rise building accidents was the key point of this movie! The fact that he got the model of the plane wrong while talking about approximately 10 different cases of high rise building fires is a definite proof that this movie is a hoax!
Damn, such a gap in the logic! How could someone like that even DARE to question the rock-solid logic with which the white house explained what happened on Sept 11?

No it just means I can be certain of him being inaccurate there.
And there may be other places, but I don't claim to know what
happened during 911.

Have you considered looking at things that ARE accurate? Most of what he says is easily verifiable. It is extremely easy to download all the footage off the Internet, for example. Pretty much everything besides what he says about Osama can be verified.
