One of my main complains is the useage of grapics, its overdoing it at some points......... it evens is doing preloading after game load
The animations partly suck..... and alot of the design was really bad(inferno ripped Moria), alot of movie ripping in the looks.
The "attack direction pointing" is really messed up...... among stuff....

the game is too easy (but I've only played in normal mode, I hope the hard mode will be decent)

I think H5 is not easier that previous ones. Playing 1 vs 1 with computer is not a big thing to win even on heroic but take more players and at the beggining of the 3rd week you will have plenty of enemy heroes attacking your castle - all exacly the same time. This is not funny it's more like bugged (they shouldn't cooperate that way)
And AI should be definetly fixed. Sometimes having battle against dungeon, computer casts some useless spells like idiot instead of mass destructive or implosion. I just can't imagine any human player playing this way.

The opening screen consumes ram....... allmost forgot, i want someting sexy not a random piece of showoff......
The worst part is: No freaking Defend Animation and the Dragon models sucks imo........
The lack if "Migth and Magic" really kills the game too.
The lack of more spells... soo few spells around lategame, very few
Leaving behind the "class upgrades"
The lacking "alternativ upgrade" useable..... alot are useless....
Lack of complete balance.....
Design for buildt in maps(it sucks imo, but people allways make maps <3)

correction: the AI is worth less then sh*t, but does it change a thing? The better players beat any AI, no matter how good it is.

Dragon models suck..? They are better than previous as far as I'm concerned.
Lack of might and magic? You are kidding me, even previously pure magic factions as academy and dungeon have a duality now.
Class upgrades in H5 were rather cheesy.
No, most have a purpose.
Balance is fine, there are few things that need to be addressed. Only
thing you have to accept is that certain factions are just great in earlygame.

No matter what you'll say Elvin, H3 fanboys will always tell you the pixelated ugly h3 excuse for a dragon is the most wonderful thing in the world.
of course it's a matter of taste, but come on, "taste" also has its limits. H5 blackdragon model is rather beautiful. maybe not as intimidating and majestic as the H2 black dragon, but it eats H3&H4 dragon alive.

Why 300kbps maps take so much time to load? I may understand the game needs to get all textures, but they are always all the same no matter how large map is. This leads to the conclusion that code is f*** up.
The same is true for AI turns. Why does it think many times longer than H3 or H4? No ingenius algorithms detected.
Luckily the ridiculous level gap and random map generator will be modded within days

For the record I liked the H4 blackie But yes H5 is just great and the H2 is exactly as you described.

15. My Documents\My Games\Heroes of Might and Magic V\Profiles\<User Name>\user.cfg,
open this file with notepad,
find "setvar gfx_fullscreen = 1",
change it to "setvar gfx_fullscreen = 0",
then you can play in window mode
(you may have to change the resolution in game to see the effect).
I just tried windowed mode and it does not work for me.

Tha fact that Heroes of might and magic 5 appear lol. Full of bugs and so boring...Massive loading times for ai to move or to charge a map for playing. Ai is dumb even the heroes 2 ai is better. The graphics aren't good for this type of game..Imagine a superb 2d high res. game with many colorful things....
The creatures are retarded and ugly =)) Meh...thats my point

But yeah I agree it DOES take long to load.
The most disappointing for me: the fact that it has some bugs (especially in Multiplayer) and that it is slow (slow as in 'low frames per second' and high loading times, not in gameplay); just because it's a TBS doesn't mean it should be slow (I don't think Nival, with this engine, could create a playable RTS)

Co-sign. Man, if there are multiple AI on the map, your turns will take at least 30 seconds.

This has probably already been said, but... Dark energy is too much of a limit IMHO. Sure, the element of strategy is now implemented with the necros, but... I just miss having loads and loads of skelly archers that can finish most stacks in one shot... ow, well...

Co-sign as well. First, vampires were nerfed, now this. Its getting harder and harder to find legitimate reasons to even play with the Necropolis. Before, necroes were unique because necromancery was one advantage that they had over all factions. Now EVERYONE has a specialization. And with what appears to be no limit to how high morale can be and Necros being uneffected, you will get destroyed buy Haven, Sylvan, or Stronghold often before your whole army gets all of their turns.
Now this dark energy crap. If I defeat one neutral stack, all my dark energy is gone to resurrect like, 15 vampires. Stupid.
