You miss the most important problem in your options: lack of a random map generator.

I did notice something that no one has mention about.
Heroes 3 allowed you to customize your army by spliting your troops. Heroes 5 demo (or hopefully, the offical release) seems to have no option of that to Heroes 3.
I'd liked it how you could easily split the troops, to have that not in Heroes 5 is a disappointment.
I mean like you brought a hero from the tavern, you want most of the hero's troops in your army to make it bigger, as in Heroes 3, a hero had to have at least 1 creature in their slot.
And even though each race has a special "skill", most of them seem unbalanced.
Ex: Haven; training. To have your weaker creatures to stronger for a price is fair, but to have 2 or 3 times more of 2 - 6 lvl creatures in your stack is almost impossible to beat. On the Campaign Demo, as Haven, I managed to get over 500 archers and almost 250 paladins, not even the computer with high spell power could of stopped them, thats truly unfair.

yeah
random map generators are the best thing about arma blade and heroes 3 imo; it just adds a huge degree of replayibility

Quote: I liked very much the Skills and abilities system in H4 it was great...stealth...resurection...GRANDMASTER COMBAT...I simply hate the <build new building screen> (not the town view)it's so dificult to know witch buildin you are able to build or not (or the reason why not).
The graphics are good nothing to say about that. But....dissapointing
the system of basic and all the way up to grandmaster came from Might and Magic ( a great game, well, VI - VIII were good, and IX was bad...) =D
hard for me to choose between 2 or 3, my poor poor nagas!, where did they go *sobs*
also, the disappearance of stronghold and fortress was bad... (couldn't care about conflux, didn't use them much, even though they're not as overpowered as people make them out to be, unless ur doing H&R )
fortress was a good town!!!...mighty moos

Well at least you can take comfort in the fact that Naga seem to be a possible theme of one of the towns in a forthcoming expansion pack.

Double click BEFORE you drop the split WHILE holding the shift into ONE available slot. Seems kind cumbersome to me.

Well, in that case, yes, it is cumbersome for me as well. Shift and drag...
I can't disagree about anything then. Though, what makes me disappointed is on the Recommended requirements, most I have is doubled except for CPU.

They were expensive ... but a group of hasted and frenzied Nagas was a nice way to end the opponent.

yeh i agree , but nagas weren't worth it when u compared to the prices of other 6th lvl units, closes one is dread knight being 1500 (100 cheaper), that double damage and curse was pure disgusting, too bad curse duzn't affect my cute lil' nagalings ...still naga got that no retal ability... i usually didn't frenzy, it was a nice way of saying "hit me! hit me! kill me now!" lol

Yeah, only used Frenzy for that final blow. But I think they were worth the cost - they had lots of hit points, did great damage and no retaliation to follow - plus, they were a sorely needed tank unit for the Wizards. So even though the speed was kinda lousy, I think it was good value for the money.

I agree that graphics look VERY VERY much like Warcraft 3.
Infact, most of the Haven-heroes could take a role in Warcraft just fine.
I'm kinda disapointed with the graphics, they look very oaut-of-date. I'd have preffered to rather stay in 2d, or make it look as nice as LOTR: Battle for middle earth 2.
I also miss a random Map generator and a few factions.

Quote: I agree with Xytech.
For me the biggest disappointment is the lack of multiplayer maps.
I mean there is only a handful of them and with no editor and no random map generator they will soon get mastered and become boring.
I wouldn't count for random map generator. I think it'd be far too difficult, if not impossible, to make a sensible one, because maps in H5 are far more complex than those in H3.
So let us hope that the map editor arrives soon.
Me to ! The lack of random map generator and small amount of maps are two disapointment moments . I'd already falled in love with H5 and want more of it

It's the small number of maps and the lack of a map editor that worry me most. Particularly the latter; please please let us have a map editor!
I still remember what it felt like to play Goldheart in HoMM III. Just an amazingly original and brilliant piece of of work. No, art.

lots of complaints about the small amount of non-scenario maps. I don't have the final version, but I'll take your word that there's only 10. That is kinda absurd.
I am guessing/hoping that this means there will be an expansion featuring many more maps (and maybe a map editor?), but still it's really disappointing that there aren't more maps in the original release.
I don't know how much faith I'd place in a random map generator. I have the feeling that randomly generated maps would probably be pretty sloppy and/or lend themselves to heavy repetition.
