Heroes 5: The Best Ingame Screenshots Contest
Now that the game is out we are looking to create a gallery on Age of Heroes composed of the top Heroes of Might and Magic 5 Screenshots made by players. It can be a screenshot of any in-game moment, just make sure you submit the absolute best. The selected screenshots, along with the HC username of their author will go into the Heroes 5 section of AOH, which is currently visited by over 6,000 fans per day.
Load them up on photobucket and post here. Remember to keep the full-resolution version in case your screenshot/s get selected.
Prizes: All screenshots chosen for the gallery will have their author's HC Username mentioned. Few or several of the top screenshots will earn their authors a red star (quality bonus point) on HC. And the #1 winning absolute best Heroes 5 screenshot in the world will earn its author the top prize: Prima Heroes 5 Strategy Guide from Amazon!

Well that's quite an idea. I like it 
But there comes a question:
Is there an built-in option to take a screenshot? Like PrintScreen key?
If not, what program do you recommend to capture the screenies?

Ah yes, good that you asked. I think it is done by pressing the printscreen key (close to F12 key).
Then go into the directory where you've installed Heroes 5, and into the screenshots folder - all your shots should all be there waiting for you

What is the deadline? In some parts of the world there are 2-3 weeks till release [so some people could even download a game to make that screenshot  ].

19th of June will be the deadline. 1 Month should be enough for most people to get Heroes 5 and get familiar enough with it to take the best screens.

Yep, I agree. But of course we need some shots to show the natural beauty of the game as well, for people who haven't played.

Oh yes, feel free to use any image host. That was just advice for those who are new to image hosting. And you can enter as many screenshots as you like, as long as they are all very good.

Well, too bad that to be a great screenshot u`ll have to use maximum graphics quality which is not possible for all of us

I don't agree
You don't have to max graphics to get a great screenshot.
As long as the picture is cool/humorous it doesn't really matter.
To me that is.

For screenshots you can use 800x600 resolution or 1024x768. More is not really needed, as screenshots will have to be optimized for the web anyway.

Since nobody hasn't posted any screenshots from in-game, I'll go first
While I am at it, the forum's way of showing a picture doesn't work. You know, you hit the "insert picture"-icon and enter the address.
After a countless number of tries, gave I up. It simply wouldn't show.

It was a great fight, and when I won, I had only 1 hydra... :] Btw it was about 40 minutes... :]

May i ask how do you do that, cause personnaly i think that that is impossible, you were way outnumberd, and i think you couldn't stand for 2 rounds with 50 minotaurs and hydra's, which spells did you use, or perhaps "console commands"
