Poll Question:
The Way of Fire Elemental
Elementals first appeared in HoMM in Heroes 2 and have taken different shapes in the following series. So which one do you think is the best?

I chose the one in Heroes III. All of the HoMM II elementals look the same except for different pallete colours. I'm not exactly fond of the IV's disembodied elemental. And V's looks like a snake with some of kind of gun on them.

I voted for Heroes III, because I think that one quite well captured the idea of being on fire. The Heroes V one isn't bad at all, though, I suspect it'll look awesome when it comes to life through animation in game. The Heroes IV one is way to static, and even though I think the Heroes II ones were cute, well, they are somewhat dated now.

like alcibiades said, the one from H3 represents very well the idea of fire.I don't like the idea of the FE beeing a snake in H5...

H5's fire elemental looks great, but two snake-looking elementals in H5 (Fire and Water) are not a very good idea.

In addition, I think Heroes II fire elementals are brothers of Heroes III magma elementals...
I just like the original fire elemental... not wacky-looking fire elementals like the ones of H4 and H5 (the ranged attack is nice, tho)

admit it... H3 fire el is just Human Torch... H4 one is like something out of pokemon... now H5 ...salamander comes to mind... yep, you guessed right... that got my vote

The h4 one looked bad, (the hand??), the H5...well, a bit on the ugly side too 
the H3 got my vote, i like the idea of a humanoid enveloped by flames

They're all pretty bad, the H3 one being the most realistic.
