Poll Question: The Way of Water Elemental
Elementals first appeared in HoMM in Heroes 2 and have taken different shapes in the following series. So which one do you think is the best?
H2
H3
H4
H5

Don't call this a fetish, but I've always imagined biting into an H2 Water Elemental and tasting blueberry jello or something. That'd be sweet (pun intended).

I think HoMM III's design suits it well. The elementals in HoMM II look the same, but with pallet swaps. HoMM IV's just doesn't look like an elemental to me, and V's is likewise, but with an actual head.

It'd taste like sh...shockingly good chocolate!
But then again, it might just taste crappy (pun intended).

I vote Heroes V because it captures the fluidity og this elemental quite well. The fishy look of the Heroes III one wasn't that bad, however, and the Heroes IV jellylike one was ok as well.

I think that in H4 it looks more like an elemental, spawning from the water and stuff ...like I said just don't like the snake looking elems.

I always thought of water can better be represented by the form of females... and H3 water/ice elementals suits my needs

the H4 elemental is the only one that encompasses the transparency that water has... hence my vote went to it. snake-typed elementals aren't to my taste as for those big honk honks... if u based ur vote on them... then... well... no comment lol

H4 any day.
H2... what is that?
H3 and WOG are what, like fish women things? Nothing to do with the element of water.
H4 is what elementals are supposed to be, just animated elements, and H4 encompasses that well.
H5 doesnt do a bad job either.
EDIT:
On second thought, I don't like any of them really. H4 is good, but it doesnt go with all the other good ones which are humanoid like the H3 fire, wind and eath elementals, which are the best of their class. If there was a human-type creature made out of water it'd be awesome.

when I think of an elemenal, I think of a large quantity of that 'element' moving around as though it were a living being. blobs of water, piles of rock, whirlwinds or clouds of air, floating fireballs, etc. for the most part, HOMM4 did the best with that concept.
