I agree with TitaniumAlloy. Someimes you sit about two hours on a quest just to get a new emotion... which is usually your character doing some stupid dance...

well alot of people are proud that the last three weeks they wasted has now gone to the good use of raising the number next to the little .gif sword from 56 to 57!

Thats what I like in videogames though... The next level.. the high stats.. The pain and agony paying off.
I played super tecmo bowl 3 for that very reason... Stats =)
Edit: Although I may host a massive drop party when the reject my request to drop the strikes against me. Like I said, it wasnt in the 10 rules originaly, so I made a bot, then checked if I could use it and they gave me 2 strikes for testing it out.
I'm not gonna play 100s of hours when one curse word will get me kicked out.

Why is there a 3-page thread of people trying to actually find something good about RuneScape? It's as clear as "glass" that RuneScape sucks, and there's no doubt about it.

OK, everyone who thinks RUneScape is good, read this post. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME. Use that time to play real games, like Warcraft (although it costs a bunch) or GOOD free online games like Gunz, MU, SoldierFront, Gunbound ( ), or even go to Miniclip (and DON'T play RuneScape there...). Just do it.

Or age of Empires 2, damn that game is one of the best.

I used to play runescape but now I play a different game. it is called Heroes of might and magic V. it is a good game. ever heard of it

I played Runescape before i played WoW.
It was long ago, many of my friends in school were playing. It was a trend then (we had many trends, when we were 7-8 we played Pokemon lol but it became to childish for us ). I was like 10 years old.
Then my friend told me about WoW and i was like "wow!!! now i can explore all the places in Warcraft 3" !!!
And he told me about it and said that the trolls and orcs started in Hawaii -.- (which is not true, they dont even start on a island) and told me about it. And when i heard that there was the awesome Naga in the game i bougth it the next day XD
And i thougt the Runescape sucked a lot and was the worst game in the world compared to WoW...
We played together, he stopped playing because he got bad in school (and when he stopped he became almost better then me).
I played alone for some time and had lots of long breaks from the game. Then i stopped playing for 8 months, it was hard to stop like everybody says. Not hard at all and i played much (not much else to do).
Then when we have stopped my whole class started playing instead!!! So when we stopped everybody else begun to play it.
Anyway later i begun to play again, and even more later my friend begun to play again after a long, long break.
I still play World of Warcraft and enjoy it alot. Its the best game i have ever played and i have played games since i was 5 years old.
Runescape is a good game but WoW is much better i think.
WoW doensnt cost much (if you live in a rich country like Sweden like i do).
