Creature banks modification - displeasant surprise

Hi,
have you ever tried to modify crbanks.txt? You would better do not this.
You can edit number of creatures, ammount of resources or creatures given to you as reward and probability of each bank level. But it's everything. You can't
- add more types of banks
- add more levels
- change the creatures inside (e.g. Liches instead of Vampires)
- change the reward from resources/gold to creatures
- change the creatures in reward (e.g. Monks instead of Angels in Griffin Conservatory), all is defined by default somewhere (but where?)
If anybody knows how to evade these limitations, please let me know.

with wog, naturally. but youd have to probably write ALL the bank script from nothing.

And without WOG? I am playing HOMM III and HOMM IV on my PowerMac G4 and as far I know, WOG port for Mac doesn't exist. Of course I can try to install WOG on PC emulator but Heroes 3 are slower there

i don't understand what's so good about wog... sure that some skills are edited for the better... but i still don't see what's so good... with the  lv 8 and upwards creatures (imo, sort of destroys the game... i'm gunna get killed for saying it lol
