rmg patch for SOD
dear comrades...
it's been a while since i played homm3 last time, so i forgot one crucial thing... i have only SOD installation CD and i forgot the procedure for enabling random map generator without installing AB. can anyone refresh my memory??? (it was something with making a file or two and thus enabling the option)..

1. Open "notepad".(or "wordpad")
Press "new".
An empty page will open.
2. Press "save as".
Give the file the following name:
h3blade.exe
and save it in your Heroes directory (where the heroes.exe file is located also)
3. Press again "save as".
Give the file this name:
h3ab_bmp.lod and save it in your Data directory
Now you have to do the same procedure explained in point 3.) three more times while naming the files as follows:
h3ab_spr.lod
h3ab_ahd.snd
h3ab_ahd.vid
You have to save them in the Data directory also.
You should have created 5 files now, 1 saved in heroes directory, the other 4 in data directory.
Restart your comp, start heroes, click on "new" and then on "Random"
PS: You have to have RoE version 1.4 installed, otherwise this won't work. SoD stand alone doesn't have the RMG option.
