It sounds like you've got the bugged version of the map. There is a garden of knowledge behind the rogue cavern that you can go to and then walk west before water walking down to the town. If you can't walk to the west from the garden, then you've got the bugged map. Re-download the (now correct) version from ByteBandit's site.
Xyron is the hero that you are earlier advised not to fight, before going to Mongolia. Once you kill him, then there is another stronghold town on the right hand edge of the map to take. (called Cyclops)

Just one more thing: You are talking about the Rogue Cavern to the right of the lower town right? Not the one below the upper town?

Yeah - the one just above and to the right of the lower town - about 3 spaces from the Ogre Fort.

The dark blue one is just to the West of Merlin's castle. You will need the black one first - that can be found in the dragon valley right at the bottom of the map - that you reach through a two way portal. Only trouble is that I can't remember where the other end of that portal is! Sorry

When u have conquered the castke towns to the very north of the map (where many castle creatures joined you), there is a portal in the very north east corner. This leads to a small land pile in a sea. take a boat from there to the west. You can land there, find some goodies by events and there is the portal which leads to the black tent. You have to fight a bunch full of black dragons to be able to visit the tent....

I am not talking about the 2 Castle towns u have in 1st month. I am talking about the 2 further Castle towns to the very north east of the map. Will be month 7-8 till you reach them.

Dragon King and Death God
Hi everybody!
like most of us I am playing this map and I am stuck I took the rampart castle called still water on the very north of the map where there are 3 quest gusrds nearby.
1) First guard needs the 3 artifacts (all reduces the cost of surrendering)
2) Defeat dragon king to open the gate.
3) Defeat death god to open the gate.
The problem is I cannot locate neither dragon king nor death god. I would really appreciate if anyone can help me

1) First guard needs the 3 artifacts (all reduces the cost of surrendering)
These artefacts you will get from the Inferno player (pink iirc) to the very north west of the map. Their area (lava terrain) is located behind the quest guard of no.2)
2) Defeat dragon king to open the gate.
Dragon King is located in the cave area just south of pink player. You have to get into a boat near that quest guard and sail in south direction through some serpentines.
3) Defeat death god to open the gate.
I'm not 100%& sure which guy death God was, but I think it is the necro guy who waits in an underground terrain. The entrance to this cavern is located a bit north of the Cyclops King. A quest guard wants you to kill Cyclops King, then u have access to that entrance. There u have to give away your tomes (earth + water) and your Admiral's hat to be able to proceed.

I killed all the necro heroes underground still the idiot quest guard tells me to defeat the death god =)
May I have a bugged map? Coz there is also another problem. The seer which wants me the defeat the God of air wont give my reward after God of air banished from the land... (I took his last castle and he was banished after 1 week)

The "bug" with the seer refering to god of air is known. He disappeared, he is not beaten. Therfore you won't get a reward. If you have time andf some patience, you can try to buy as many heroes as possible from tavern in next months (after God of Air disappeared) and hope to find him there. After about 15-20 heroes you have bought and fired again, they will always appear again in tavern. Therefor I would suggest to buy a hero and put him in garrison of a town, so he cant appear again. If u wont find him, just wait 1 more week and do the same again, until he shows up in tavern. When you are able to buy him, just go into a big fight with him and let him die there. Then you will get a reward from the seer (which is not essential though...)
As mentioned in my HCM already, I will check about that Death God later when I am back home.

Ok...checked the saves.
Death God is not the necro guy I was refering to, he was called "Lost Soul".
Death God is a demoniac (inferno town) which is located on a hidden place. You remember how u made it possible God of Air could disappear? You took tan's last town, a conflux town to the south. How did u get there? Waterwalk from a small land place with a 1-way monolith exit. Exactly with the same tactic, but into the other direction, you will find a hidden "landing place" in that water labyrinth. (Check west of that northern crypt.....)

Free Angelic Alliance
Thank you for the info angelito found that damn entrance =)
By the if anyone needs a free "angelic alliance" you should check the God of Air's inventory =) In order to do it buy all the heroes in your Kings Castle till God of Air comes. Recruit him(like Angelito explains above) and take the best artifact in HOMM 3! (imo) =)

No chance for you, sorry. If the game takes too long, it seems the computer players gets too much resources/army (as event every week), so game seems to stuck.
You need to play again and be faster (before month 15 starts..)

another one stuck.
I have lost my earth magic, water magic and admirals hat in the cave of lost souls. Now I can't summon boat or get to the lower level....let alone find the black or dk. blue border guards.
What should I do. I still need to get to the upper right hand corner of the map too. I will see if there is a secret passage I have missed.

You will get these things back right in the cave, except the tome of earth, which will be a reward from a seer not far from there in a region with 2 more Castle towns. There is a seer in a small lake who will give it to you just because you are Sir Mullich..
What went wrong in that cave?
1. Did you kill that pink guy, who had shield of yawning dead?
2. Did you find the 2 hidden artefacts south of that guy (BEFORE you reach him, there is a hidden path which leads to a subterranean gate. Right there you find them. Going through that gate will give ya more artefacts if you step right in front of that black boarder guard.
3. Near that gate, you also find a seer (to the east). The reward will help ya to remove the quest guard to the east right where you "lost" your tome of water.
4. This new way will give ya some spell points and 2 seer's huts will give ya rewards you need..

hi! just registered on this forum, because i have a problem in the empire of the world II. i can't find the orb of vulnerability to get to cyclop king... no idea where it is. can someone help me with that...? thx!

A bit north to the town of Cyclop King (located to the very middle east). There is a tree of knowledge, and it is hidden right behind it.
