Inferno! A town surrounded by hot boiling lava seems pretty cool.

Though choice bu here i goes:
1st Inferno - beatiful chaos, those flames, smoke, and on the Heart of the Abyss with never ending fire and thunders. Once i lost 10 min just watching(it hipnotize me)
2nd Sylvan - Mainly for music, colors, those wonderful woden bulidings or Unicorn Garden and beacuse i like elves they are so fragile and so powerful
3rd Dungeon - Chilly, moody dungeon, i realx and take great pleasure from just watching it. It's so gloomy and something magical in this place Definetly first palce to buy a house(I mean cave) for me
4th Academy - Yes Yes wonderful and full of wonders. It's just pretty. By the way Has anybody count the stairs uff is pretty hard to get up there You have to be in good shape or be an Angel. To much light and the ever changing weather, not mention that you have to close your windows(The Wind up there could clean sweep your room in 1 sec)
5th Necropolis - Because i like necro, death, pain and something like that(oh forgot Suffering). For me nice place for vacation. Not much tourists, you have wonderful view from those spires. Maybe it should be more terrifing but the smell of death and zombies and green color makes all even

fine choices, but i believe that necro has the best one.
i'll give you five good reasons
1.It is the only city that actually looks like an urban city, other than the fact that it has loads of dead guys not living guys, but that makes it even cooler!
2.The music fits the theme well. It makes it look like a dead remnant of the haven towns. It is also very dead-guy like at the same time.
3.Has a very dead theme to it and it looks like an undead town with desolate buildings, ruined towers, and gravestones.
4.The landscape surrounding the city really compliments the cityscape.
The landscape matches it very well.
5.The origination of these cities matches what it looks like. The undead towns were originally towns of the other factions and it looks like that.

Well as i think i get this list upon my mind:
1. Dungon! +++design, but sadly the designers did a lousy job on the exterior building..... It should have been a stairway to somewhere or a giant teleport.
2. Academy! Clouds, fresh air, free trade, and several islands.
3. Fortress! Snow+ Lava+ A giant pit and a complex maze of buildings!
4-9:
*Sylvan. A gaint tree, but attempting to rip Warcraft.
*Necro. Endless abyss, the backgroundimage of the moon is blurry as hell........ Could have used some stairs and stuff.
*Haven. Medival, but illogical and other things. It even lacks a staircase to its grand leaders.
*Stronghold. Seems rushed, with the river they could easly have implented a tile swap for fitting the nearby terrain. A its a bit sad too, and the screwd over build plan
*Inferno. I think i saw someting similar while watching Lord of the Rings.

My favorite is definitely Necropolis. The whole layout of the town is very dramatic and epic. From the tall, thin spires to the fact that the town sits upon various rocky platforms. It also seems very sinister.

The Dungeon
I personally don't own a Heroes V game... yet! And this is my first post in the Temple of Ashan Forum.
But judging by the videos and pictures I've seen, I must say that the Dungeon town is quite nice. It really has some interesting structures and dwellings (such as the Mother of Darkness, Blood Memorial & the School of the Unseen Hand). Despite the horrid theme, I must say the Inferno town is interesting as well. The red color and fiery blasts here and there add drama and effect to the overall outlook. The Hall of Temptations and Raging Kennels are quite good-looking structures. Necromancers' Towns are great as well with a whole grotesque green effect and tall, thin and dark towers with tiny windows. The Sepulcher and the Haunted Tower add a creepy factor to the town.

my favs are....
1 sylvan, awsome light reflection in the water really cool.
2 dungon, really sweet the light the caves
3 necropolis, its big and green and f****** awsome
4 inferno, awsome computer generated walkthrough but not as good just to look at
5 academy, floating stuff is cool just not as cool as the others
6 haven, its cool but would have been better if they didn't build everything off the main building
all of the new homm v towns are really cool but the elves deffinatly know how to build the best.

Academy makes it number one. The giant city in the clouds with the eloquent Arabian architecture is beautiful. It epitomizes a fantasy city. I mean... if you had to choose between living in one of these towns, which one would you want to live in?
Haven and Sylvan tie for a close 2nd. The sunset atmosphere is beautiful for both of them, and I love the lake and the Japanese architecture for Sylvan.
Necropolis takes number 3. It's a big, dark, spooky, ultra evil city. Plus I love the multiple moons in the background, that was a nice effect.
Stronghold takes number 4. I like the stormy background, goes perfectly with the orc people, and the big central tent is spiffy looking. The surrounding buildings are kind of dumb looking though, so that's what gives it number 4.
Dungeon and Inferno tie for number 5. Inferno has a nice thing going for it, but it's too "blocky" looking. When I think of demons, I think of something more refined and intricate. Dungeon has a half-naked girl that's larger than the size of the castle itself, so I have to give them props for that. But the upside theme makes it hard to get a good view of the city, and the background isn't very exciting. They should have stuck glowing fungus on the cave walls or something.
Fortress takes the last spot as an absolute piece of crap. It's a friggin hole in the ground surrounded by walls that look like they are about 2 feet high. And when you view the city, you can only look at it angled directly upward. I think the graphic artists tried too hard to be creative. If they had just made it a big stone city in the arctic mountains they could have made it cool looking and gave a great view.

Yes,Fortress was the worst design,it is reallt like a Volcano ,sorry it can be intresting if it look like a Volcano, but is like a stupid pit,and the buldings' placement is absolutely horrible

I liked all, but in the end I came up with these:
Academy
Sylvan
Dungeon
Haven
Necropolis
Stronghold
Fortress
Inferno
And the winner is Sylvan. I like their Music, Their Buildings, Their Huge Tree, and this Daughter of Sylanna looks cool too.
As for Inferno, I spent too much time loathing it during Inferno Campaign to honestly give it a good vote. Besides, the Fire around the place is just creepy.

I must say that the Fortress design is good because the town architecture fits the Dwarves so well. The buildings try to imitate geometric figures; the town is built on many levels, and circular ladders (with small stairs to better fit short Dwarven legs) tie the buildings.
