I mean, Brits and Americans have different meanings for the word "chip". What we call chips, the Brits call crisps (I think). What the Brits call chips, we call fries.
So I was wondering what kind of English the Ausies use.
Like do they spell "color" or "colour"?
Do they spell "recognize" or recognise"?
Does anyone besides me even care?

Well, it is weird.
When we mean chips, we could mean either Hot chips (fries), or potato chips.
When I say gimme some chips, I mean, potato chips.
If I was talking about fish and chips (those kinds of chips), I would say fries or hot chips.
