the hero to the left of jeddite looks exactly like zydar except has horns...

...although he does appear to have aged somewhat, how do you know that Jeddite hasn't been bald, all along...I mean that hood is always covering his head

I'm pretty sure Jeddite's always been bald - the hood was just to cover the bald spot, I mean, what self-respecting Dungeon Overlord would hire a bald Warlock, even if he has seen the face of Xenofex?
I've heard Sir Mullich is back; seeing as he's sort of the patron hero of NWC, and David Mullich's own hero, he'd have to come back.
Is Mutare anyone at NWC's own hero? That would be excellent! She'd be back for shure! Of course, I could know if I really needed to make these speculations or not if I knew what happened to her in Clash of the Dragons - I really need to go buy that game.

Wasn't Alamar a hero ever since HOMM1? I'm pretty sure he was in 2 and 3 but I forgot in 1.
Anyways here are the heroes I want back:
Alamar- my fave warlock
Gem- eeew I hated her Druid pic, I hope she comes back with her cute face and pretty blond hair.
Daremyth- her special skill kinda sucked, but I like her.
Kastore/Seymour- I just love his design, but this time I'd like him to come back as a Shaman.
Mandigal- WOAH, this guy looks quite mysterious. Change him from a Wizard to a Necromancer.
Charity- the only undead hero that I EVER liked... seriously. I hardly play as the Undead Towns.
Gwenneth and Ruby- my fave Knights. IMO, their design looks better than any of the HOMM3 female knights.
Crag Hack- simply a classic.
Astral- The rather stereotypical Wizard look, and I like it.
I think Crag Hack is already in the HOMM4 hero roster, but I just included him there for admiration purposes. As u may have noticed, my fave heroes were the ones in HOMM2. Partly why I liked it more than HOMM3.
Side note: Heroes I don't want back.
Any of the Troglodyte heroes.
Wrathmont (LOL sorry Wrathmont fans, but his face scares me)
Vatawna
Madame Oarla/Astra
Trojan
Sephinroth
Any Beastmaster hero
Gelu
There's not really much individuality between these heroes, so I don't want them back for only one reason... their face.  sorry guys but they scare me.

well, yeah. when you say 'sumo wrestler,' atlas must be the one you mean. but i never thought about sumo. imho he was just a strong and mean barbarian, maybe his face looked bit childish, but at least he looked honest, and gave the impression of might (and a lot of it) without tricks. so it seemed like sth you could count on.

To Midler:
I understand the hate of Gelu; he destroys the world, after all - plus I have this Armageddon's Blade poster hanging up in my room, so every mornging when I get out of bed I see him, flashing his sword around, the idiot.........
Anyways, I then always feel beter when I look at Mutare.
I like the way Sephinroth looks.
Alamar should definitely be back.
Troglodytes are just plain wierd; I don't think we'll see any more of them; we have Orc heroes now!(In one battle screenshot, her name's Ritzil, and she's a Rouge)

That post is a fail in every perspective:
1. It's a reply to a thread with last post being 8 years old.
2. The message has nothing to do with anything... "halon wants back", eh?
3. The whole thread discussion is out-dated because H4 has already been released.
