Weekly Library Questions______week 12/07
Series continues....
1. "We don't like women in our group!"..."And we don't like men in our!" Why did they put us together then?
2. All in all, there is no category where u will find us on top or on the bottom. Neither the cheapest, neither the most expensive....just average it seems....
3. I am an upgrade. My prize is: 1500 gold and a "pack" of resources (excl. wood/ore)
4. Ammo Cart, Archer, Ancient Behemot, Air Elemental....they all belong to the same group. Which has nothing to do with their starting letter...
5. Which map location could add the most points to a hero's primary skills? (random map)
All questions refer to Heroes 3 RoE.

When I said "pack" of resources...they can't be "5"...coz "5" are called "several"..

#3 Tough one really - founatin of fortune(rampart) - 1500 gold, 10 crystal (upg. of magic pond)
#5 Is there really anything that can give you more than +8? If pandora's boxes count, than yes, but otherwise I can'y recall anything.
#4 3000 can be divided by their cost in gold (I know it's wrong ... or maybe? )
#2 wild guess: medusas?

4: They are all neutral? I don't remember which alignment Rampart is, but i think it is neutral.

1. Witches/Beastmasters. The heroes of Fortress. All witches are females and all beastmasters are males.
2. None of Fortress' 14 units are the cheapest or the most expensive (not even tied) for their level (with distinction between upgraded and not upgraded).
3. This could have been Tower's library except that a library costs lots of resources. It could also be Fountain of Fortune, but that's not really an upgrade. I can't think of anything else.
4. Combat units?
5. I'm going to say Altar of Sacrifice too. There is no limit on how much XP and therefore also levels you can gain. The only question is whether or not it's allowed on random maps.

1,2: Ecoris' answers sound good to me, but I wouldn't have guessed any of them.
3: The Ancient Behemoth upgrade costs 1500 + x
If talking about city improvements, I would say: Fountain of Fortune. I guess this is what was meant, since it is never built. It is not even possible to build it, in most cases 
4: No idea, I go with Cleroa ...
5: I was thinking the answer is something like "snow" or "dirt" or "grass". It is not asked which map object does give the most primay skill. But I have no clue about random maps, so I don't know the answer

FOUNTAIN OF FORTUNE
The fountain of fortune is an upgrade to the basic mystic pond. Its presence gives +2 Luck for a hero during a siege.

For the matter of fact, u can place "endless" artefacts on the altar, u can gain "endless" levels.
Who has an answer for #5 if Altar wouldn't count? (a pandoras box is NO map location, but a map object. A location can be visited!

Alt. 5: Well, I don't think this is what you're looking for: Anything that may give you at least 1 XP (e.g a Learning Stone). If you thereby reach 1810034207 XP (or more) you will improve from level 74 to level 88 which gives you a combined total of +14 to your primary skills. That's more than a Library of Enlightenment.

A revisitable event which gives a lot of experience would surely provide loads of primary skills. A Seer's hut could also do the thing.

FireSpirit got it right. The answer I was looking for was "seer's hut". They can give you up to 20.000 experience points as reward. If you visit them with a level 1 hero, he will surely gain more than 8 points on his pirmary skills.
An event does not count, coz I said "random map". There are no events or trigger points there...

Well but a seer's hut can provide you with skills directly - I just don't know how many are max on random map - I never play them since with friends I always play mine .
