yet another newbie crying for help...
i install SoD + AB, and then "allinon1_1" WoG 3.58f - the game works perfect, but after restarting the PC, im getting the above mentioned line, so everyday, when i want to play Heroes, i have to reinstall them all over again (at least its pretty quick)...
my PC is on English setting, i do evrthng "by the book", yet im missing something.
i need help fast!
to mods: if there is more posts like this, plz sorry, im new here and i quickly got lost in the ocean of posts - u can delete this freely or merge it with another

I would suggest reinstalling it.  Sorry, but sometimes people get pirated versions which prohibit use of the game. Where did you get your game from, Desolater?

It happened to me too, the only thing to solve the problem is by re-installing the windows.

Unfortunately, this case IS one of those "sometimes"... Hopefully if i find them in original here, i will not hesitate(?) to spend as much "Dinar's" as it is needed.
and yes, i did reinstalled them... 10-15 times
for Windows - i have not tried yet... must buy DVD/RW to save all the music, pics and saved games first.
however, i do get on WoG installment a message smthng like: "WoG didnt detect Heroes3 or SoD in the system registry (this is not an error, just a notification)"
a couple Qs:
-whole installation for WoG is about 40Mb (without those videos), right?
-i need to install WoG in heroes3 folder (4 ex. not in ...3DO\Heroes3\WoG) along with all heroes files? cuz i had problem with sims2 needing its expansions in special folders so they could not overwrite original ones

no problem with me, however, what mods think about it - thats another story and yes, im a great anime fan - H5 had a great concept art, slightly anime-ish. pitty they had to be done in 3D, a lot of great games got ruined this way. im just looking at the 3d model for peasant and think WTF?  it looks like Popeye...
i noticed that majority of heroes players are slavic in origin

the problem is not solved yet... i need to reinstall windows after i buy new DVD/RW. it seems that the problem is virus jeefo aka hidrag, which is copying itself on heroes exe files everytime i install them. ok, ok... dont crack your nerves - offtopic gone.

About the problem do you have CD-RW so you can burn your important stuff on CD's
