By my reckoning, Hereos of Might and Magic follows a pattern:
Good
Better!
INCREDIBLE!!!!
not so good
Good <-You are Here
Better!
INCREDIBLE!!!!
not so good
We're on a Good at the moment. Proceding to an Better, followed by an INCREDIBLE! Heroes VIII might break Nival/Ubisoft, because of it's not so goodness.
I am hoping I am right, because heroes VI will prove my theory, and thus I will like it. I don't know wether or not there will be a heroes VII, so I won't keep my hopes too high. Charachters...oh boy.

HOMMIV was a great game, just because it was different it doesn't necessarily mean it was bad.

But seriously: Heroes IV was a sortof good game, but it was not a Heroes game. It was more...Explorers of Might and Magic, a different game.

i agree daystar i loved heroes 3 it was my fave and when i play heroes 4 i was thinking that they had killed my favorite game! but i got past that and i play it when i want a different attitude towards the world

My favorite characters would have to be Wyngaal (cuz he is so awesome with a few level ups and the rain of arrows spell), Raelag (because he is in two campaigns, although he uses a false name in the Demon campaign (He had a helmet and armor so then he needed a cool new name, so he switched from Raeleg to Agrael (I read the switch letters part at begining of forum))) and Alaron becuz he is a king and has sweet white hair!

My favorite character is realeg,zehir and wulfstan. drama you can see on about 95% of all soap operas.. Humor is a bit harder

Does anyone misses Sir Mullich?
The one from H3, of course, I've just picked this pic for my avatar because there were 8 more with the H3 pic.
But still, it's Mullich.
Wulfstan is great. I like Dwarves very much.
Wulfstan, Gimli, Muradin... All great.
But i wonder why all the Dwarves in all the games have scottish accent.
I mean I'm not saying that as a bad thing, personally, I think is great , but why?

I dunno, I liked her Avatar, there was something in her eyes that seeemed so gentle, so pure. But then she looked so...perverted in the game. It made me embaressed to play, esspecially when my parents were around.
