Poll Question: The Heroes
Long time ago I saw that there are many heroes from the seven races but they are all the same, f. e.:
In Inferno:
except Biara and Agrael
or in Sylvan:
exept Findan
and so on, etc...
I think -with a help of a patch or what ever- every single hero can have a unique appearance on the map, f.e.:
Galib in form of a Djinn:
I
I
V
or Naadir as a Wight:
I
I
V
etc.
Your opinion?

able to picture every single
detail of his faction
accurately, something most of
us would be unable ... too long to display...

if you gave every hero a unique apperence, then how can we make the people in the campaign unique?

Thoose heroes appearance in the campaign stays f.e.: Zehir , Isabel, Findan, Realag,...
There could be some changing in that heroes which you can play in the single player mode. However if they get a new face, logically they will have the same face in the campaign...
(ungh, could it be that I misunderstood your question bixie?)

There is a mod that changes their appearance on the battlefield. I haven't got it myself, but I've seen it at elrath.com. I don't know if it changes anything outside battlefield, though.

I'm pretty sure it does.
I myself do not like the Idea.
different faces are good, possibly small differences in the models:
(eg: For wizards: a short fat man, a tall proud man, an a tall proud woman, all with different faces)
but having creatures reskined as heroes? Not good.

Porbably I said it false... I donīt want either creatures reskined as heroes!
Just to have different faces for the heroes, not always the same boring thing.
But by Galib it wouldnīt very beautiful when he would sit(!) on an elephant...

This thing appears in the campaign. There are several cases that heroes look like creatures.
For example, in the 4th Campaign, Nicolai appears as Vampire Lord.
As Alc said, there are patches for those things.
Anyway, I don't like the idea.
Sometimes, it's hard to know who's the hero and who's just a neutral creature.
We need a clear different between heroes and creatures.
