Nice to see that the contest is still alive when I'm not here.
Anyway, good entries. The development of Golemcrafter's and Tenaka's factions, since I saw them, seens great to me.
Bixie, very nice beginning. I would like to see more.
Continue and do the creatures line up.

After taking a look at Tenaka's racial skill, it's different from the other races' skills. Although I would reduce the percentages.
Basic: 20%
Advanced: 25%
Expert: 30%
Ultimate: 40%

I think his percentages are okay.
However, the entire racial skill doesn't fit well to the pirates, so I would do another one.

Well, Fofa, those percentages would make it weaker then gating, and Inferno can call up 7 with gating, so that would underpower the skill. I do love it that there's feedback on my faction.
At Genielord: Well, I wanted to do something different then the usual pirates for a change. This creation is more a faction that has a monopoly on trade over the sea - which they gained through less legitimate ways -, and for some reason, I think this skill fits that idea.
But I'll try to think of a new one, if you really don't like it...

Don't forget that gating requires the unit to spend it's turn to actively gate, which is a very big sacrifice (what's the use of bringing in enforcements if your units are slaughtered before they arive?).

On the other hand, the gated creatures appear wherever you want, while the natives just appear in front of your hero. But, I think I'll lower it a bit, but not to Fofa's percentages. (And you're definitely not stupid, at least you added some numbers instead of just saying 'lower them' )

It would've been empty for me to say lower them without giving some numbers. I admit, I tend to lower percentages a bit. . . .

Too late; I already am.
I remember having a pirate faction when I first started making my Guild and Prison towns. . . .but that was eventually scrapped, as was my alchemy town.

I'm back.
1. I've updated Factions' list.
2. I haven't put Rouge_Zombie's entry on the list. It doesn't have enough material.
3. There are not enough entries for this round. If we don't have more entries untill the 11th of July, we will be in a problem, and won't be able to finish the round.
4. The few entries that there are are very good ones.

History is up...Not written very well, but I'm leaving on vecation tomorrow, so I'm finishing this...
Next: Racial abilities. Done!
Edit: I don't think I'll have more time to work on this faction...So I guess it's finished. I' love to work on on it, but I guess I can't modify it anymore after the dead line...
