I want the behemoths back! You have orcs, dragons and elves everywhere (Warcraft, Dungeons&Dragons, LOTR... and every other fantasy game, novel or movie) but behemoths are HOMM creatures! When you think about a Cyclops or a Centaur, do you remember only about HOMM? I doubt it... But when you think of a Behemoth - you'd realise that it belongs in HOMM. The game just isn't the same without these savage creatures. The Behemot is a part of Heroes' originality, it's a part of its heart and soul. Don't take Behemoths away. Please.

I wonder what the cyclops' ability will be...paralyze maybe, just like Homm 1-2? I sure hope that their upgrades will alternate between melee and ranged, so you can choose between e.g. paralysing cyclops and the boulder throwing one with area damage.
The reason they're not using the behemoth anymore may probably because the barbarians will have natural defense-dampening skill, so having a creature that does exactly that will be quite redundant. Unless they consider other abilites for them.

I hope to God they put the Behemoth in at level 7. The cyclops could be 6 and the other thingy level 5 (Hydra are level 5 you know).
The behemoth should zap strength from anything it attacks and add it to its own attack! It would kind of be like a rage ability. Strike an Angel, drain 10 attack and add it to it's attack so the next one will do more damage. Allow them to do that until the unit's attack is 0. Just an idea...

That would make Behemoths the most powerful being in HoMM history! Just think if it took 30 att and already had 30 itself!! 60 att!! Then it should LOUSY def to make that balanced, or get a slayer spell back!
And what have you against HoMM2 Cyclops, that was awesome being, okay laser is a bit, weird! But HoMM2 rocks... and i want melee cyclops.

According to the sources mentioned above, we already know some of the abilities of the Cyclops - it will be able to throw allied Goblin units as projectiles, and will also be capable of devouring them to regain strength.

Is that really serious though?? Vlaad wasn't really sure if it was a joke or not. Has someone got better confirmation of this?

I haven't had that confirmed, but honestly, I don't see any reason why they shouldn't make it so? I mean, I think it's a perfect feature for the "barbaric" tribe, to have them sacrifice the weaker troops to boost the stronger. Never really the compasionate kind the Orcs, right?

Yeah I suppose it could make sense... just to me some of those things sound kind of silly - more like a joke about stupid goblins that a serious game mechanic. What are the cyclops going to burp after eating the goblins?! (That would make me laugh I must admit) I await the expansion/more information to prove me wrong lol

Can you truely believe that the Cyclops will be able to throw Goblins or to eat them?
It just doesn't sound like something that will be on serious game, and I'm pretty sure that Nival wound to that.
I think the whole thing was a joke, and Pao-Kai is the 7th level creature.

A neutral which was announced for HoF and didn't make it in the end was the snow ape. In homm3 the ancient behemoth is a white "ape-ish" looking creature, so maybe it will appear in TotE as a tier 7 neutral.

Nice theory, but I think the unit had very weak stats around tier 3 ish. Would be cool though if they buffed it up and made it a real behemoth.

All I ask is that Biara gets taken down permenantly, preferably by Findan, but Realag or Isabelle would work.

Findan is not good enought! We need Raelag (Filled with destrucktion magic) to cast Implosion on her (empowered ofcourse) followed by a armangendon!! ...
Now he is not as powerful character but: WULFSTAN! He was awesome, i loved him... So just for the fun of him saying: "DIE LASSIE" To Biara would rock my world!
Sorry for the off topic

The Behemont should definetly be in a castle, but I don't think that it will be possible. Anyway if they decide to use him, I hope it would look exactly like the H 3 one. Because the armies of H3 should all be included in the H 5, only for the 3D appearence.

nickkkk, heroes V is meant as a new part of HoMM, not just H3 with polished graphics Would you buy the same game second time, just in 3d? I wouldn't.
HV reassambles H3 in many parts but it still has some originality in it. And that's fine for me.
