New Heroes for ToE?

Since there is so much discussion about new upgrades in ToE I thought having a thread for new Heroes only:

I am probably not the only one really looking for more heroes in ToE.
There are only 8 standard heroes per faction, which is too few when the rest of the game has expanded. I hope they could make at least 4 more per faction with all new special abilities.

There are so many new concepts, backgrounds and specialties that could be used. Knights have aready gotten 4 new ones (the renegades), but they are not recruitable.

Which specialties do you miss? Which ones could be suitable for the new add-on.

Should for instance there be more creature specialists? Or someting attached to new abilities of the new upgrades i ToE. For instance a wizard that specialises in Gargoyles and do more elemental damage through the new Marble one?

Has anynone heard rumours of new heroes yet by the way?

I'm pretty certain that there will be no new heroes. They have already revealed the content of the expansion, I believe that if they intended to give us new heroes, they would announce it ages ago.

I hope we get new heroes . And the heroes with Creature speciel should also do for the Alternatives ... And then we out of 4 new heroes 1 should be creature specielist, 1 Skill(like Enlightment and those), 1 Spell, 1 More speciel like a new creative thing ... Don't know what, but they seen to be on fire!

But atleast 4 more heroes ... Not renegades, hate em!

Yes, unfortunelately I also think so It's rather weird though that they can't give us some more.
We have to make our own then. To the modding table..

I want there to be Uber heroes that you can only get after you
A) Have the Tear of Asha building (there were a lot of capitals there!)
B) Have a level 30 town
C) Have 5 or more towns.

A hero will apear in the Tavern.  This hero will either be a campaign hero (who all have incredibly good abilities) or a hero with a "Sylanna's Blessings: All Green, Rainbow, and Emerald dragons have increased Speed, Initiative, Attack, and +1 luck" or something.  It would basically be a power up for level 7 units.  

Then of course there is the "Customize your hero" editor.

I think that is an excellent idea.  Four more heroes for each faction all with their own new specialty!

For example a destruction wizard who gets a bonus to destructive spells that increases with level. A Summoning warlock who increases the number of elementals summoned with level etc.

I'd be satisfied even with 2 new per faction but I have every reason to doubt we'll get any.

When any of these conditions apply, that level 1 hero won't do **** anymore.

This is what I think Ubi/Nival will do:
- new heroes in campaigns? yes - Arantir, Gorthai...
- new heroes for custom maps? unlikely (Lorenzo, Andreas, Valleria...)
- new abilities for campaign heroes? maybe (wasn't the case in HoF for Duncan or Ylaya)
- new abilities for unlikely new custom map heroes? no.

If they do not include new heroes, then they should at least put some work on the graphic part and personalize each hero a little, so that they look different , I mean I get that it's not such a big thing, but in h3 we had same look, in h4 same look (only 2 models - one for male and one for female), but this is heroes 5 , what the heck? They should modify the base model for each hero, a little. And it wouldn't be too much work on it.

I'm getting awfully bored playing with 4 Knights, for example, looking 100% the same.

I know that there are already mods for that on the net, but they are fan-made, and Ubi/val would make a way better job...

knights aren't a big problem, they are in armor female and male models are enough for me.

We clearly need more normal balanced heroes for the sake of diversity and more to choose from. When for instance 4 factions play Sylvan, there will be only 2 heroes for each, which will force you to pick non-Sylvan heroes.

And yes, I should like to see a hero specializing in Summon magic as well

Campaign Findan gets way overpowered with stats of about 40/40/25/25 at the end (if you visited all stat boosts). He cannot return or every mission would be deemed too easy.

I also like the idea about superheroes.
What about choosing "superheroesgame" before staring a new game. Every faction has a special hero with great specials. Preferably legend hero names as Sandro,Crag Hack,Solmyr and Gelu as "superheroes".


For the new Orc heroes I think that it will be atleast three unit specialists, two who specialize in warcries abilitys and the rest in some secondary skill. A new Crag Hack would be fun if they manage to get that hero balanced
