If there was a -2 speed artifact and other -X speed artifacts then those initiative artifacts would be way more fair. I mean:
player A with initiative artifacts but no speed artifacts:
superior initiative but he can't reach player's B stacks.
player B with speed artefacts but no initiative artifacts:
inferior initiative but he can reach something, so basically he would strike first, luck might trigger etc.

I agree the Initiative arties are too good. Just look at my Imba Yrwanna in duel (24 initiative with Furies, 32 with Haste)

The bonuses need to be additive, and the ring&staff needs to be fixed ASAP. That will make our favorite & best balanced faction aka haven the strongest again, though.. since maeve comes with uber powerful haste that will act like extra ring of speed at level 20 That should be enough to cripple all factions that don't have mass slow.

Do stacks with more creatures have higher initiative than stacks with less creatures? I noticed that sometimes at the beginning of a battle, units with lower initiative get to act before units with higher initiative.

No, the amount of creatures does not affect the initiative.

hmm.. ok, but, sometimes, right now for instance, some master hunters with initiative 10 get to shoot at me before my succubus seducers with initiative 12 get to seduce them. Someone knows why? Is there some randomness at it?

All units have a random atb boost in the beginning of the combat ranging from 0 to 25%.
