Uhm... the Sanctuary concept is a town concept - not a creature concept. The Academy naga concept looks and is very different.
Both the Faceless and Naga have reasons to not appear. The Nagas live in the ocean and the Faceless in the abyss.
The Naga in the files also looks asiatic.
I belive this was the plan:
1. Naga were Academy creatures.
2. New lore = Naga is a race. They start doing concept. They are asians.
3. Save naga for H6. Naga neutral creature instead. Gets scrapped.

I know that everything you said is valid and the arguments in favor of a third expansion are thin. But, one is allowed to hope, isn't he?
All I was trying to say is that there are chances. I did not say those chances are above 1%!

Uhm... I didn't say it was, I said it was removed just like the original Academy naga. Sorry if my wording misled you.

Nival is out of HoMM Series. As Fabrice Cambounet mentions it in his last interview.
Ubisoft is the sole developer for HoMM5, now. Will finish patch 3.2 and, the last expansion. Under the supervision of the World Manager of Erwan Le Breton.
Another developer will take responsibility for developing HoMM6. In their own visionary ways.
Get use to that, getting old, news.

I'd like to see some kind of technologically advanced semi-industrial faction, in which there are no heroes, but the abilities typically given to heroes are used by the units.

Completely mechanical faction where robot make robots, there can be a biger machines controlled by their creators but they would be shielded inside the machine.

I don't know, a faction made of only mechanical units doesn't appeal to me for some reason.

I know 
Some live creators like human scientists, gremlin and goblin mechanics should be in this faction.
Maybe as one of the Tier, maybe lvl 4(Gremlin mechanic_> Goblin engienier; human scientists), .
they fight building war machines. Recruiting this creatures/machines costs in resources like wood, ore, and exct. and less gold.
